Two gangs of robbers descend on the same bank, but hearts are what may be stolen instead in Flypaper, a madcap crime comedy from the screenwriters of the blockbuster the Hangover. Patrick Dempsey (Grey's Anatomy) stars as a nervous customer with a crush on beautiful teller Ashley Judd (Double Jeopardy, Crossing Over). They and the other staff and customers become hostages when two very different groups of crooks hit the bank simultaneously: A high-tech trio who plan to break into the vault and a pair of small-timers whose idea of a big score is knocking off the ATMs. When people begin mysteriously dying one by one, everyone involved begins to wonder if there's someone else in the bank up to no good. Tim Blake Nelson (O Brother, Where Art Thou?), Mekhi Phifer (Dawn of the Dead) and Jeffrey Tambor (Arrested Development) also star in this comic blast of a mystery. Review: Flypaper--funny,clever with a delightful twist - This movie is hysterical, laugh out loud funny. It will always make you laugh no matter how many times you have watched it. Flypaper features a great cast who work wonderfully with each other. You think you know whats going on and whats going to happen and then it goes sideways and just keeps getting crazier. It is a fabulous comedy heist movie with some clever twists and turns and some very interesting characters who just when you think you have got them figured out they turn around and do something else. Not to mention,at the same time, it seems that there just might be someone else in the bank looking to take out the bad guys. Not exactly a kid friendly movie as there is gun violence, implied sexual situations, and lots of cursing and f-bombs. Think PG 13. Everybody should see this at least once because if nothing else it will give you a good laugh. Again I have to admit that my primary reason for buying Flypaper is actor Matt Ryan. Love his work and this movie does not disappoint, Review: Good movie - Good movie shipping very fast

Love this movie.
I lost my copy and wanted to watch it with a friend. It was a quick delivery. I have watched this movie about 5 times and still laugh and see new things happen each time I watch it. One of those unexpected comedies. Kind of a twist on the classic clue game.

Flypaper
I purchaced this movie for my son who lives in another State. He had called me and in our conversation he mentioned having seen just a partial scene from the movie and laughed himself sick and was trying to find it in his movie guide so he could watch the full movie. He knew the title of the movie so I looked it up on Amazon and found it. I ordered it and had it shipped directley to him. He called me after watching and was thoroughly entertained by it.

Absolutely Get this Movie
THIS MOVIE IS AMAZING. Please, for me, get this movie. It doesn't even matter if you buy it. It is just an excellent movie. It's smart, hilarious, witty, clever, well-done, excellently paced, with quick lines and a plot that (while mysterious initially), does actually make sense. My copy had no damages and had all it's parts. It arrived on time and everything was very well done. (Also omg Patrick Dempsey amiright?)

Confusing...
I'm not sure how effective my review will be as I'm still trying to figure out exactly what happened at the end there...not the very, very end, but the climatic battle...who was who and what and where and how? Also, despite the finger pointing at pretty much everyone, I think a cameraman managed to avoid suspicion. Anyway, this film where two gangs of bank robbers meet up literally in the middle of a job has its laughs and Ashley Jud...the second reason being why I watched it in the first place. However, if it was trying to achieve a classification of "mystery thriller" or something like that, it didn't make it. Like I said, I'm still trying to figure out the ending. But more importantly, I'm not losing any sleep over this lack of knowledge, meaning I got everything I could out of this film the first time around. I will compliment Tim Blake Nelson and Pruitt Taylor Vince as the bumbling, redneck bank robbers who have no comprehension of what they are doing (they have guns so I'm using big words so they don't realize I'm degrading their felonious work...God only knows what could go wrong if they try to seek retribution for my negative assessment.) Sadly, I think such idiotic bank robbers actually do exist and I'd love to know what event in life inspired this piece of "art". Other than that, this film has Ashley Jud and a lot of finger pointing and accusations as to who the mastermind behind this God-awful day at a bank is...it really doesn't have much more. I have seen a number of Patrick Dempsey films because other actors I like are in them, but he didn't grab me in this film. I'm not sure if his OCD performance was supposed to be funny...it was just weird but it only came off as weird and somewhat creepy. Anyway, I will only recommend this film if you want to watch a "thriller" with a convoluted plot and if you're able to sleep without fully understanding the ending to said convoluted plot. Enjoy.

Entertaining!
Monk meets Agatha Christie meets the Three Stooges! Funny, fast and a good dance. Well put together and well acted. I liked it.

Very entertaining lost movie
Really had a good time watching this. A cross between a caper movie and a locked room mystery with a bit of "The Usual Suspects" thrown in. Fast paced, funny dialog, and it has a terrific cast. This movie needs to be seen by a lot more people.

I did not expect much from this one. Just a film to get Patrick Dempsey's movie career going but also something to relax to without any efforts. I was wrong. This turned out to be a very funny comedy. It takes some time for me to warm up to a film like this but I was laughing almost all through it all. The Crooks were just perfect and hilarious and Patrick did a great job. I would recommend it to anyone who would like to have a relaxing two hours. PS: Don't worry about the language in this one. Compared to other comedies coming out of the US (or real life) this one was strictly Sunday Church School.

The DVD purchased was bought and sent at a distance (from me) as a gift and I did receive confirmation that it has arrived well-packaged and quite on time. I will gladly order from these folks again!! I viewed this film on cable and thought enough of it to share. Nuff said!

This is a movie that I have watched multiple times before and after purchasing this DVD. The movie features Patrick Dempsey who can tell things that are out of place. Overall a good movie with a surprise(ish) ending. Loved the actors who play Peanutbutter & Jelly.

A tried plot with a nice spin. A couple moments in The Hangover had me laughing harder, but this is solid funny throughout the entire film, with an intense last 20 mins revealing shockers up until the very last minute. Everything and everyone shines in this movie.
