I bought the SHINESTAR 3.5 ft Universal Gas Grill Regulator and Hose with Gauge to replace an old regulator on my grill, and I couldn’t be more pleased. Installation was quick and straightforward—no tools needed, just hand-tighten the connection to the propane tank and attach the other end to your grill. The built-in gauge is a nice bonus. It gives me a clear reading of how much propane is left, which helps avoid those annoying surprises when the tank runs out mid-cook. The hose feels sturdy and well-made, and the connection is secure with no leaks. I’ve used it several times now, and my grill fires up instantly with consistent flame control. Came on time and worked perfectly.

This hose was a replacement for our BBQ. Very easy to install and the hose quality seems very durable. There is a pressure gauge so you can see the level of the propane which is very nice. Gas flow seems good and looks great on the grill. Great product for the value!!

So overall I'm happy with the product. It fit my Charbroil perfectly. The gadget however did not work at all and always shows the tank is full. This wasn't a huge deal as I can check myself and I just needed my grill to work. I'm sure the gauge works on most and mine was a one-off. Definitely a good deal regardless.

My grill would not heat up, it wouldn't get past 200 or so. This solved the problem.

Used it once. Second time I used it. I turned on the barbecue and was letting it heat up and it leaked out completely draining the tank. Unsure of this I put a new tank on and immediately the gas was leaking out of it at a high rate. Not only did I waste money on this, but I was out a tank of gas.

When the tank fitting on my 2year old Char-Broil Profesional grill started to leak, I did not want to mess around. I decided to replace the whole line . After a quick search, I found this model which had a hose that was 2' (vs 1' on the origonal. ) That makes it a little easier to get on/ off the tank . It also had the gauge to show tank status. Ordered it and had it in a day. Very well packaged and seems like good quality. It threaded onto the grill in about 2 minutes. Nuff Said.

My BBQ wasn’t cooking evenly or well. This worked great, was easy to replace and now we are back to great BBq’d meals!

I was not sure why my tank had 3/4 full and was only cooking at 100 degrees of heat on max setting until I smelled and heard gas escaping from a pin hole on the original regulator. this new part installed quickly and as a bonus has a gas gauge which the original did not have. Now I can max out the heat as if it was when new.

Was easy to install and I always know the level of propane in the tank. I can plan for my next fill ups before I run out while BBQing.
