Awesome quality vitamin. It does have a smell to it that felt potent to an expectant mother’s sensitive nose, but its worth it to ignore and still take. Average size, not too bulky. Didn’t contribute to upset stomach either!

These are amazing.I feel so much healthier when i'm taking them. They're pricey , but I think they're totally worth it. I'm not pregnant anymore, but I still take them.I just take one or two a day instead of three and that helps them last longer , so it's not as expensive.

Its a vitamin, it smells like vitamin. Not sure what others are complaining about. These are great, feel great on them and no issues!

I wanted to love these prenatals because I trust the brand, but after 4 months I’m still disappointed. The capsules go bad very quickly. I couldn’t pre-portion them in a weekly container (even with a lid that snaps shut) because after the first two days the pills for the rest of the week have gone bad. I know it’s the pills and not the container because none of my other vitamins go bad. So I tried continuing to pre-portion the rest of my vitamins and set this pill container out with my weekly container but it takes up too much space and defeats the purpose of the weekly container. Two of the four bottles I’ve gone through I had to throw out before the end of the month because the remaining capsules started to go bad. They would get black specks in them. Some times a capsule didn’t look bad but when I took it I would feel nauseous and get acid reflux. Any took within the first week of opening the bottle were fine. But after that first week I just couldn’t trust they haven’t gone bad. I tried four separate batches and had the same result with each batch. I hope they can find a way to make the vitamins more shelf stable without sacrificing the quality! I would love to come back to these if they figure that out.

I’ve been using Thorne Basic Prenatal and you can truly tell the quality. I love that it includes well-researched folate (not just standard folic acid), plus choline and 18 essential vitamins and minerals to support pregnancy and breastfeeding. ***I am writing this review as someone who has taken this prenatal before and after getting pregnant because my review would be different for each experience if possible.*** My doctor had recommended this prenatal vitamin prior to pregnancy as a good everyday vitamin for women my age. I had zero concerns with it and took it for several months. I didn’t taste or smell them in any major capacity, felt totally fine after taking them (no tummy issues), and felt great the next day. 5 star review! HOWEVER, at about 6-7 weeks pregnant, I started struggling. My nose can smell things from a mile away and for some reason, the smell I sense from these little vitamins sends me into a spiral. I struggle to get past the smell and subsequent taste. I take them at night (as I always have, even pre-pregnancy) and I have to go to sleep immediately afterwards because my tummy will become upset quickly. I’ve had some issues with getting sick if I don’t sleep soon after taking. I really have to hype myself up to take these at night. With that being said, my review during pregnancy would be a 2 or 3 star. I think the ingredients are great and help, but boy does the smell make me want to run the opposite direction. Overall, I’ll stick with a 4 star review because I think my body changing has also changed how I perceive and react to things. Even vitamins.

This was pretty inoffensive to me when morning sickness came about. I'd recommend them for that reason alone. I still take them as a breastfeeding momma, and they've been great. Three pills can be a lot for some people, so it's nice it's in a capsule so you can mix it with pudding if you need to.

The product is fine but don't bother ordering from iherb. They will cancel your order and only inform you of this 4-5 days later. It's better to order from another vendor.
