great software
I've been away from Adobe's Creative Suite for a few years... but was pleased to use this new version (once I unlearned what I knew, way back when)!

InDesign has deteriorated. No longer intuitive. No longer easy.
This used to be a great program. I've created books, fliers, etc. Now, something as simple as placing a graphic requires an Internet search. Figuring out how to replace a graphic is now difficult....and requires further time on the Internet searching for an answer that has been so simple in the past that no searches were required. Whomever resigned InDesign must not use it, because it is no longer user friendly AT ALL. i'm redoing a flier from years ago. Changing my photo: took at least 15 minutes to figure out. Figuring out how to replace my logo took at least 30 minutes of research. Terrible job Adobe. This product needs a massive overhaul (or just go back to when it worked). Otherwise, I advise anyone to choose a differenet product. And Adobe, don't tell me I could have called you. I was used to a program that was easy. and this is no longer easy or intuitive.

A garbage program they haven't fixed in 25 years!
I was quite content using InDesign 5.5 for six years. Then the greedy crooks at Adobe decided I hadn't paid enough (only $800). I could have gone on using 5.5, except Adobe stopped supporting it so I was forced to change to a subscription of about $25/month forever for the current version. You would think Adobe after 25 years would figure out how to fix the many glitches in this program. But, oh no! The latest iteration is worse than version 5.5. It's no wonder the FTC has sued the company. They deserve it! I will probably go back to Quark XPress.
