Can this be programmed to display a stock ticker symbol live? Updated every few seconds?

No, you have to manually enter the information you want to display, put the name tag in bluetooth mode and send the information (sync) it from your phone. I love it. I change it to reflect the days until my retirement.

Can you change the font size to fit more letters on static screen? I don’t want the letters bold and I cannot see it in the app. App needs an update.

You cannot. You have to download an app to make to work also, which does not come with the instructions.

Can you continuously update the message without touching the display? I want to be able to send messages often to the display.

Hi! You have to physically trigger the switch to change it to Bluetooth pairing mode. Then you can connect to it using the app, change the message, and then switch it back to display mode. So I believe the bottom line answer to your question is no. You can change them often, but you can't do it without pressing the button to switch the mode.

How many letters can be displayed?

Max. 750 letters on scrolling mode and 5.5 letters on static mode.
