Saves time, cleans well, great addition for the cleaning kit.
This tool is a good addition to the pistol cleaning kit. Woolen like material is tightly compressed and a bit course, does not come apart in the bore, making it real easy to use. It fits the barrel tight and takes a bit to push it through but cleans all the rifeling. It is great for cleaning after the brush or oiling after the bore is final cleaned. I only use a couple of pads for each cleaning making it a good value for the money spent. It is only for pushing through the barrel, threads in the material don't allow pulling it back through.

makes cleaning the carbon ring easier.
the felt tips are i think a step up from fabric squares and if you want to soak a carbon ring it is east to place it at the ring and leave it there while still on the rod. everything you need to attach to to the rod comes in-the package .

Felt falls off jag!
For 9mm you can only push the felt through the bore, not pull it back. Felt falls off when pulled back! May work with larger calibers? To polish bore using J-B Bore Bright I had to superglue felt on jag so I could push / pull! That ruined the felt after one use!

What can I say other than these just suck. I bought the 9mm size. They're VERY difficult to ram thru and there's no hope at all of being able to pull them thru a barrel--it pulls easily off the tiny threads on the included jag. Back to cotton patches...
