Proctor Silex Plus 62545 Hand Mixer, White

Unfortunately, you simply cannot buy a quality consumer hand mixer anymore. Nobody sells one with metal gears or a large enough motor unless you make a large price jump into commercial mixers. The problem is that few people will spend $30 more on a mixer that will last, and once someone does, they will use it for the rest of their life. A company would rather make a cheap one that you will have to buy again and again.That said, this is a better buy than many other mixers in its range, because it doesn't have the attractive wire beaters so popular these days. Those thin little wire beaters break constantly in our house. We've got a drawer full of them. The older, folded sheet metal style that this one has is much more durable, even if it is less attractive and harder to clean.In short, this mixer is no different than all the other consumer hand mixers except that a) it has better beaters, and b) it comes with a nice storage case.I would recommend purchasing this and planning to purchase another one in 3 years. It's better than buying $20 replacement beaters for a  KitchenAid KHM9PWH 9-Speed Professional Hand Mixer, White  every other month.

Thus far I'm pleased with this mixer. Have only used it 3 times but it blends smoothly, runs fairly quiet, and is easy to keep clean. I find the simple way the beaters pull out easy. I like the heavier metal beaters & have only used wire one once. Hopefully it will be durable. I also find it does not throw wet mixtures up over edge of bowl as badly as some mixers I've had.

I bought this to replace one like it that I had for years and if finally died. I was excited to get this one but I never thought I would have a hand mixer that was too powerful. It will take some getting used to but I may end up getting a different one that is not so fast.Update: I now see that others are complaining about the motor being too fast. I never dreamed I would be complaining about a mixer being too strong but I definitely will have to replace this one.

This is a nice compact mixer. The extra container to hold the blades and cord are great. Always together. It is not intended for heavy use. A great produce! LB

So far, a very nice little mixer. Nice self storage for the beaters. Inexpensive.

This hand Mixer is good enough for a baking beginner, and it is cheap. I used think that 150ww is not powerful enough, but when when I used it to mix cream cheese and gelatin, it worked very well.

I shopped around for this, and it was cheapest on Amazon. My Sister wanted this for christmas, as far as I know, she is very happy with it.

This was to replace my hand mixer that I burned the motor in making icing for cinnomon rolls. I should have stopped mixing when I smelled the burning motor, but a brain fart later it went south. This model is the same as the one I abused and I was so happy to find the same one as I love it. Ive had it for many, many moons that went through heck and back. It's a simple hand mixer and a breeze to mash potatoes not like my immersion blender which made my mashed potatoes look like sloppy, very sloppy mashed. Btw, cinnomon rolls were to die for, in which my hand mixer did, bless its little heart <3

Slow speed is crazy fast

Bought this little hand mixer because I didn’t want t have to drag the Kitchen Aid out all the time. As others said, the slow speed is pretty fast so be sure to use a deep bowl when mixing in dry ingredients otherwise you will have a mess. I loved the idea of the little case for the beaters so I wouldn’t have to go digging for them in the junk drawer. However the case is not very strong so be careful not to bang it on anything. I accidentally dropped it shortly after receiving it and there is now a big crack in it. I figured I’d be ducting taping it but I contacted Amazon and they were gracious enough to send a replacement. I will be more careful with it from now on.

Un très bon achat pour le prix. Le moteur semble assez fort, les vitesses me conviennent mais la plus basse pourrait être moins vite. Je ne l'ai utilisé que 2 fois à date mais je constate que c'est une bonne qualité. Je recommande ce produit.
