Happy to give this nice little instruction book as a gift!
I bought this Hand Embroidery Stitches At-A-Glance instruction booklet for a girl’s 12th birthday gift, as she recently mentioned an interest in embroidering on her jeans. (Being a child of the '60s and '70's we embroidered on everything, so I am excited to get her started with the right materials.) However, this is a perfect instruction book for any age, as it is well thought-out having clearly illustrated and written step-by-step instructions for 29 stitches, some possible stitch options, tips and notes. The stitches are presented in alphabetical order in easy to read font, and although some might think the font small - hey, it’s a pocket-sized booklet - the perfect size to slip into your portable project kit! Additionally, it’s a pretty little book with laminated cover and sturdy pages; colorful frames around the illustrations within enliven the pages and I’m happy to give this as a gift. There are more extensive books out there for those who want more in-depth info, but this booklet has more than enough to get started, or as a refresher, and worth every penny.

Truly Useful
Now that I've used it for some time I can tell you that this little booklet is a gem. The layout is clear and simple, the full color pages are laminated and of good quality, the ring binding is perfect for leaving the booklet open at the page you want. She also added possible uses and combination of stitches when space allowed. Its size is Goldilocks perfect, fitting easily into a small sewing box while remaining eminently readable.

Lots of info, good little book
An incredibly helpful little book! I keep it in my embroidery bag and it's been a lifesaver on several different occasions. Books with instructions can be hit or miss especially when you cant flip through it beforehand, but this one is worth it.

small but very informative
easy to understand each page not only has clear images of how to do the stitch but it also comes with worded explanations if that's easier for you to understand. The book itself is small, more like a pocket booklet.

Spiral Bound Hand Embroidery Stitches At A Glance
Spiral bound and 62 pages. Good pictures and instructions are clear and concise. This is for a real beginner. There's about 29 stitches in here and needle and thread use directions. Using this as a reminder could be useful.

Handy, but a little pricey for the size
This little booklet is okay. It offers a quick handy reference to some nice embroidery stitches. It was a little pricey, though, for what it is. I thought about returning it, but kept it because it does include a few stitches that my other embroidery stitch books don't have.

小型で内容はしっかり、読みやすい。
小型の薄い本で、いろいろなステッチの仕方がわかりやすく載っています。 日本の刺繍本では見られなかったステッチが出ていました。 英語がわからなくても、絵を見て理解できました。
