BORLA 11796 Axle-Back Performance Exhaust System for 2011-2014 Ford Mustang 3.7L V6 Automatic/Manual Transmission Coupe/Convertible.

I was looking for an exhaust upgrade for my 2013 Mustang V6 AT convertible that was not loud while cruising yet super fun when accelerating... after viewing dozens of videos on youtube I considered the Roush great sounding bit a bit too many decibels , and most other brands sounded too canny. Borla seemed to have the nicest rumble at idle and low RPM's, a wonderful sportscar roar at acceleration, no metallic screaming, and supposedly no drone. Next the choice between Touring and S-type... already knew that the ATAK version was going to be too much. I took a bit of a gamble going for the Borla S-type (Stingers) in the hope that they would be ok. I am sooo happy I did. They are absolutely amazing and add exactly that sporty feel to the Mustang that the stock exhausts muffled out, while being as quiet as the stock exhaust when cruising - even with the top down I can easily have a conversation or use the voice commands - but when the V6 hits 3000 RPM's under acceleration it opens up like the roar of some exotic sports car. Super fun!

I love the sound of the Borla S-Type. It is a deep sound. No rasp or drone. It sounds great when you get on the gas but goes away just cruising at highway speeds. This is perfect for me as I have a long commute 4x a month on the Highway. If it was too loud or there was A lot of drone it would be annoying. I installed this on a 2013 3.7 V6. I have heard the Borla S-Type on the GT and it will also be my go to exhaust when and if I can ever get a GT.

pretty straight forward install (tip: have bolt cutters handy, my stock [2012 Pony Package V6] mufflers had a metal band welded to the clamps I reused). Sounds great, won’t wake neighbors up but it has a great deep tone that gurgles when returning to idle RPM. Don’t count on performance gains, nothing really noticeable. You def get what u paid for.

This axle back is amazing. Zero rasp. Zero drone. Screams at wide open throttle. Wind it out past four thousand rpms and you get a symphony of off throttle pops and crackles. If your behaving while driving through the neighborhood, you get a nice mellow tone that won’t wake the neighbors. Cruise control on at less than 85 on the highway and your not much louder than stock. Materials and fitment are second to none. Any YouTube sound clips do not do this axle back justice.

Put these on my 2013 3.7 that came with a factory performance package, and man what a difference!! Nice throaty roar when shifting through the gears. No drone at highway speed. Some nice crackles and pops on downshifts too. I would recommend these to anyone with a 3.7, they are awesome!!

Definitely easy to install on 2014 Mustang and we’ll worth the money.

Purchased from Italy for my 2014 Mustang V6. Now the sound is that of a real muscle car. Quite silent at constant speed, but like a real race car in acceleration. Very satisfied. Fast international shipping, quick customs clearance and customs duty payment included very convenient even if very expensive.

Just what I needed in my life! I was debating over this exhaust since I bought my '13 mustang... I spent numerous hours over the past few years listening to videos and trying to decide if this was really the exhaust I wanted... I am so glad I chose this! As soon as I turned the key and heard the rumble, I knew I made the right choice.... My mustang is a totally different car now and I can't help but grin while I drive now, especially when I "get on it"..... If you are on the fence about buying this, don't be, just get it! I promise you will love it. My ONLY regret is not buying it the day after I drove my car off the dealership lot!
