Concrobium 29665 Mold Stain Eraser, 22.9 oz.

I used this for the mold in the ring of my front loader washer and it did get rid of the mold! I had disgusting mold and copper stains on the inner ring. If you have a front loader you have probably heard of this problem. Anyway, I used the Concrobium Mold Stain Eraser and let it sit on the ring for hours and it did get rid of the 80% mold, but not the copper stains. I wish I took a before photo, but you can see the after photo. The problem I had was getting rid of the stains that the pool of Concrobium didn't want to sit like the front of the inner ring where the water dripped off. I tried to wet a towel with the Concrobium and sit it on top of the mold on the right and left side of the ring, but that didn't work, so I think to get rid of all the mold stains I would physically need to unscrew the plate of my washer and take out off the ring and soak it in a bucket of Concrobium. Update: If I could give Concrobium 10 stars for cleaning my jetted tubs I would! I had mold on my jetted tubs that I have tried and tried to get rid of. I have used other expensive mold cleaners that didn't work. I just filled the tub with hot water poured the rest of my Concrobium bottle in and left it for 24 hours. I did run the jets a few time to get rid of anything inside the tubes. Anyway, I didn't even have to scrub anything. Everything was gone in a day! You can see in the photos. What a difference this stuff did on my tub, like night and day! I also love that there is really no smell with this stuff! I hate when you are overpowered by the bleach smell. Thank you, Concrobium! I will definitely buying more bottles of this magical stuff!

I used this in conjunction with Concrobium Mold Control to treat mold and fungus growth in a crawl space. I found it to be effective and easy to use. When we bought out 50 year old house, the inspector mentioned that there was fungus growing on the wood in the crawl space. I put it on the list of things to do. A termite inspector noted it also and gave me an outrageous quote to take care of it. My desire to stay outside of bankruptcy won out over my claustrophobia so I set out to research if I could do a DIY job. I researched a lot of products and chose this system because it's easy to use and provides protection for the future. I didn't know how to identify fungus or mold so I just treated everything. It took about a month of weekends and a few days off in between. I got about 90% of the way done and decided to take a break. That was last fall. This spring I went down there to turn on the outside water, and I noticed that the treated area looks like new. The untreated area now I can tell what the fungus is supposed to look like. It's all over the untreated wood. So this weekend or next I'll be doing the last section. I hope there are no spiders in there.

I used this product after applying the Concrobium mold killer (spray bottle) to a small, 8 square foot, black mold area in an unfinished attic area between roof joists. I wasn't happy with how it looked after scrubbing the sprayed area so I bought this product. It got most of the stain out. I decided to repeat the process and sprayed again, scrubbed and followed with the eraser. It looked really good after that. Then I fixed the venting problem that caused the mold in the first place.

I treated attic mold with the Concrobium Mold Control and a Fogger that I rented from Home Depot. ( That is just to kill the mold not stain removal, although some of the staining went away) I purchased this stain removal powder and followed the instructions to mix in an open container (I used my chemical sprayer and left it open for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally) After that I put the lid on the sprayer and started spraying. HOLY COW, some of the mold staining literally disappeared as I went. Most disappeared as I took breaks to let it soak into the bare wood (underside of the roof sheathing in the attic) I almost ordered more when I realized that it gets added to only 1 gallon but I am glad I did not as I got everything I could see from the attic access in my closet. IMPORTANT! -If you mix this inside like I did, maybe do it in the bathroom with the fan on. -It will foam up and overflow in a one gallon max sprayer. -Try to keep the foam, the point is to mix in a container big enough to allow the reaction but retain the foam after the stuff outgasses and breaks back down to liquid. I might have wasted some by continually scraping the foam off as it overflowed. (Just follow the directions like I didn't) -If you use a non vented sprayer (IT SAYS TO USE A VENTED ONE) it will build up some pressure on its own so do not pump up until you know how much pressure it is making on its own. I had to open the sprayer several times to let out some pressure. This is another reason I moved to the bathroom on the second floor near the attic access so I could spray it into the tub and relieve pressure there. -It will leave a white residue (wipes of with almost no effort) if you over saturate....I would rather see white residue that mold (after going back to look there is little residue anyways). So if that bothers you take your time! Sounds scary but it is not. Follow the directions. Mix it, wait 10 minutes, Spray....

Couldn't tell much difference in deck appearance after used. Acts like it is working and foams like it is doing something... but, not much effect. Sorry, I hoped this would work well. I tried a little on my fiberglass shower floor and little change there either. I will not be buying more.

After I figured this stuff out, WOW!. Working with different ages of cedar fence, some with mold stains from sprinklers and some from coming into contact with the ground. Haven't tried it on my redwood decks yet, but will be. Tip 1: Use 'HOT' water, not warm, not tap-hot water. If the water is just 'tap hot' (which i have mine set to 'hot but no physical damage' temp) it does not dissolve in time, you can't use it in a sprayer. heated a gallon of water in the microwave to 'very hot', then poured it into the sprayer with the powder and it mixed in about 3-4 minutes, was able to spray it in about 9-10 minutes just fine without clogging with the little white crystals. As the instructions say, it will build up pressure while dissolving, don't blow anything up. 2: Don't 'spot spray' a board, do the whole surface. If you do one piece of the board, you will see the difference if you stain it. Will be using more of this stuff when doing my other two decks, it works!

I do not understand the 5-star ratings and the 1-star ratings. This product should work. In any case, the product did not work on mold stained plywood. It was actually used twice in one area and was mixed and applied per the directions. I know that I am equipped to properly use this product because in my past life I was a NASA scientist and have proper training as a baker. I can follow recipes. I ran a further test and found vinegar and bleach to be superior in stain removal. I called Concrobium and their customer support was not at all interested in hearing from me. I was summarily dismissed and told to return the product to the store from which it was purchased. How do you return a product completely used? Luckily I purchased from the best retailer on the planet....AMAZON. I explained my dilemma to the customer service at Amazon and was given a full refund. I will not be purchasing any Concrobium products in the future based upon my interaction with customer support.

I wish I had taken before and after pictures of my pop up camper pullouts, but I'd completely lost hope after all the failures of other products. The pullouts had become mildewed a couple of times from breaking down camp after super soaker rains. Nothing I used would remove the stains left behind, and I didn't want to risk damaging my vinyl with bleach. Ordered this stuff, followed the directions, and used a plush microfiber towel to clean the overheads and walls of the pullouts. Not a single black dot left behind! It did what every other product claims to do, but perfectly. Buying another container to take care of some lingering stains on my boat seats. Will definitely become part of my household cleaning closet!
