Foam prewrap is an essential part of every med kit - from the emergency hiking kit to the professional athletic trainer's bag. The traditional use for prewrap is under athletic tape to keep the tape from adhering to skin, however it has dozens of other uses that make it indispensable for athletes. It has been commonly used in recent years as a hair band to keep flyaway hairs out of athletes' eyes. Because it is easy to tear but strong when twisted, it is also used to create knee and elbow straps that alleviate the pressure on painful tendons. These rolls are sold in bulk, not in retail packaging. All prewrap is produced for IthacaSports and is comparable to Mueller or Cramer. The Rainbow pack includes 12 random, different colors and will not include white or natural.

Feels good, easy tearing
Fair value for pre-wrap. I use beneath athletic tape on my ankles while playing basketball.The wrap clings to itself and stays in place while applying tape. Easy to tear by hand without much force.Very good coverage from a single roll. Color was a very forest green.Recommend the product.

Used for headbands
My teen daughter's favorite sports headband is Prewrap.This works great, stays in without slipping and didn't break her hair. She goes through a lot of it, should've bought stock in the company.

Quality Product
As an athlete I call this pre wrap. I am using this every time I tape an injury.

Comfortable
It makes wrapping your ankle more comfortable since the tape is not directly on your skin and it adds a layer of cushioning. A bit expensive for the small amount you get per roll. I only got 2 ankle tapings out of each roll.

Not good for gymnasts
This tape doesn't stick to itself well enough to stay on with a lot of movement & is a bit too big for smaller hands. It may work in other applications but not in gymnastics.

Not what was expected
Not what I expected at all, does not adhere to itself in the least bit. I suppose it's good if you tape over it, but for my use, not what I expected.
