Official Microsoft Xbox 360 SLIM Power Supply AC Adapter (Bulk Packaging)

Inital review: Product was defective on arrival. Power supply would consistently shut down the console after about 20 minutes with a solid red led light on the power brick, and the brick felt hotter than it likely should have been. Also appears to be signs of wear as though a used or returned item was shipped in place of a new one. Will be seeking to return item for exact replacement soon and will update review and seller feedback based on resolution. Seller was Deal Center Electronics US. 9-28-23 update: After leaving product and seller review noting the defective product issue, Seller immediately sent a message and dispatched a replacement unit to ammend the issue. I tested the new unit for 3 hours and no issues have appeared and it appears to be working properly. The brick felt considerably cooler to the touch than the defective unit even after running for 3 hours. Issue was resolved in a very speedy manner and product works great. Seller was Deal Center Electronics US, they resolved the issue quickly and in a satisfactory manner.

This replaced a dead / dying power supply for our Xbox 360. I had to really scrutinize the power plug to be sure this was the unit, yes it was - thank you for the photos to judge from. The symptom of the dying power supply was it would work an hour or so, then the unit would shut down. We figured it was either the PS or the motherboard, and judging by Google searches we figured it was the power supply. The price is much better than new from the mothership, so to speak, so we bought this one. It has worked for over a month now - no issues whatsoever - very quiet (ie. no noise in operation) and reliable. Thank you!

So far so good. I ordered a power supply that was an after market for my X-box 360 and it only lasted 2 months. this one is the official microsoft X-Box 360 power supply and so far no problems. Don't waste your time and money on the after market power supplies. Go with the Official Microsoft.

Bought a secondhand XBOX 360 from a friend of mine but the power brick that came with the console was nearing its expiration date so I had to buy a new one. This one works great and I can finally get to playing on my console!

First and foremost, do NOT buy knockoffs! Yes they're cheaper and sometimes work just as well but if you're going to spend $200-400 on an Xbox, you would be wise to invest in an original power supply. Knockoffs may be cheaper but may ruin your console. The power supply is just like the one that comes with the console. It is loud, big, and heavy (although the older one was much worse). All the "new" Xbox consoles use this type of power supply and it is very difficult to find. Gamestop, Best Buy, etc won't have it. If you try searching it online, you may be tricked into buying a knockoff model. I would highly recommend just buying it here on Amazon. This is a perfect replacement and I am satisfied with my purchase. Again, beware of knockoffs!

When you have an Xbox 360 slim without a power supply, this is it. There is no alternative. Don't try and use a different Xbox 360 power supply, because they won't work. Stupid proprietary power supplies. Whatever. It does the job

Don't go cheap, buy this one if you want to not risk a fire hazard and want it as quite as the original. If you want this one to last make sure you put it in a safe area where no dust can build up inside of it. That's the reason my fan broke on my last one, then the red light would always come on after five minutes of turing on my Xbox. Also if you have a financial problem and you can't afford this one, I would highly recommend buying the Xbox 360 controller screw driver for around $5 off this website, then taking apart the one you have now and clean out the dust from the fan your self. You can also put some wd40 on it too, I've tried and it works perfectly again. That way you'll always have a back up power supply if you ever need it after you buy this one.

It works. Cheaper than direct from manufacturer. I don't know if it will be any better than the original, which developed a whine probably from the fan about 6 months in. If you think your charger is bad, make sure you read the troubleshooting info on the web. The color of the LED tells you what is probably wrong.
