Great in the go snack
These were such a nostalgic snack for me. I used to buy this brand when I was younger, so when I saw the garlic flavor, I had to try it. They have the perfect amount of garlic without being overpowering. Really enjoyed them and will definitely be buying again.

Really crunchy and bugger than i thought! perfect for traveling and doesn’t lose it’s taste even after a while in the heat or in the cold. One of my leaked and the smell was bad for a while but cleaning was easy. Good size for the value you pay. the pickles quality was a little weird at first but i think cause it was crushed..

Open all packages when you get them.
Husband is in a VA facility and I bring him his favorites each week. Good price. My ONLY complaint is the packaging for shipping. I noticed the box was damaged and taped at one end. I opened the latest box after finishing the previous one only to notice that 3 of the 12 were missing. I don't know if the box was damaged in shipping or deliberately opened, but since what’s in the box is seen on the outside, maybe enclosing it in a plastic shipping bag would help. I’m a week past being able to do anything about it. Will still order more because it’s a good product.

Obsessed With the Heat: Van Holten’s Hot Mama Spicy Pickle
Oh my goodness… I am OBSESSED. The Van Holten’s Hot Mama pickles are so damn delicious. Perfect crunch, bold flavor, and the spice level is just right — not overpowering, but definitely brings the heat. Super convenient, mess-free, and packed with flavor. I honestly can’t stop eating them. Highly recommend if you love pickles with a kick!

I’m from the US and I love sour and crunchy pickles. I hate SWEET pickles which seems to be the norm here. Hot Mamas were a favorite of mine growing up and I was pleased to find that these are the actual Hotmamas imported from the US. A bit on the pricey end of course. Flavor wise, these pickles are VERY sour. So if you don’t like sour, don’t buy them or you will hate them. Sometimes I get days where I just can’t eat a whole pickle. They are also a bit spicy which is the main attraction for me. Storage advice: although you don’t need to keep them in the fridge, I highly advise you keep them AWAY from warm areas. They will taste like garbage. Otherwise, a great crunchy, sour and spicy pickle.
