These brushes are perfect. The bristles are soft enough to not be scratchy but firm enough to apply product easily. I like that there's black and white bristles for versatility. They're affordable. Not much more I could ask for (:

I use these every time I highlight my hair and so glad I bought these over the one that came with the other kit I bought.

These are amazing brushes, I've ordered them twice just so I have extra! I only wish they made smaller sizes because the wide sizes are difficult when doing precise work on small pieces for prism effects.

I thought these brushes were smaller width wise than they really are but they are still totally usable and a decent quality too

They do the job without shedding fibers and are wide enough for solid coverage. Expect the bristles on the white brush to immediately turn whatever color you use it with first, but I haven't seen any sign of that color bleeding back out.

been using these to apply bleach to my hair at home and they held up (and clean up) well. personally I haven't noticed a difference in the soft vs stiff bristles but I'm not a pro so ymmv
