Turtle Beach - Ear Force X12 Amplified Stereo Gaming Headset - Xbox 360 - Arctic Camo

I'm in love with this gaming headset. It is perfect and works like a dream. A must need for everyone. I love how it could be the middle of the night and being able to play a game with it. I love feeling like I'm in a movie theater. Not long after getting this (maybe the first night) pop spilled over the switches and it survived, but now I hear a static like noise when I move the plug around but it stops once you don't mess with it. UPDATE 9/7/15 Most reviews have talked about how their sets have broken in no time flat. But I am here to say that mine is still working just fine. I don't know how others treat their sets but as long as you treat them right and not drop them or be rough with them then they should last you a good while. I have had pop spilled it before and did experience some trouble with the sound quitting on me every now and then but it's now working fine. I still say that this is the best headset to own and to give Turtle Beach a try.

My 11 y/o son thinks these headphones are THE BEST HEADPHONES EVER!!! I bought him some other headphones for Christmas and they were NOT cheap...$125.00. He wasn't using them for some inane reason. He said he "just didn't like them." So with the $$ he got for Easter form "the Easter Bunny" in the form of a Amazon card and the $$ he got in his Easter egg hunt, he bought these and a few other things. He says these are so comfortable and the mic is extremely clear. He loves the camo deco on them as well. He says the stereo sound is great and the bass is awesome. He really likes that the chat and gaming controls are independent. He said they were totally worth the $$$ he spent!!!

I was looking for affordable and great head phones for multi purpose use (gaming, movies, general head set). I was never typically a fan of headphones that completely cover your ears due to them being uncomfortable. These are a pleasant surprise. They're very comfortable and remain that way over many continuous hours of use. The mic sounds great to other people on the end of Skype calls and the sounds quality is astounding. Save yourself some money on getting higher end headphones. These are a very good bang for their buck.

I am going to sound like a oxymoron but this is a awesome pair of headsets and a bad pair of headset. I had these for about 7 months and the side broke right in half so if you get these I would treat them with very very extra care they do break easy but they do provide awesome sound and the mic amazing I just wish they would of build it better and less cheap plastic.

It's great, I watch Netflix and play video games with it. My only problem is the wiring, yes it's a long cord but it gets easily tangled. I recommend it if you don't wind a wired headset that connects to the Xbox and TV.

Lots of buzzing noise and the voice playback is really bad, too much wires. The sound quality is good, so is the mic, but overall, it is one of the most useless headsets i had ever tried.

At first I liked the headphones very much. They are comfortable to wear and work well for playing online games using Vent, or talking with people over Skype. Great! I could over look the couple of non-functional pieces on the control because I was connecting to a PC. All went well until just past the warranty end date. The hinge broke on one side of the headphones. They had moderate use, about six hours a week and had not been mishandled. I contacted Turtle Beach and they were very courteous and sent me a replacement. Minor cosmetic difference but otherwise the same headphones. That was about six weeks ago. A few days ago the swivel broke and since the wire goes through the spindle I couldn't jury rig a fix. I thought about contacting TB again, but clearly these phones have a design defect.

I love the sound quality and i love blocking out the sound of my grandma but only for a degree i get to block out all the s*** i cant hear and if she is in need of help there at three little speackers or sound wave things on each ear peace letting ylu hear whats going on in the room so you can hear outside of the game too its amazing i love the adjustable microphone and i can play with them comfortably.
