This is the second one I’ve purchased for my 06 Duramax Silverado. Installation took 30-45 minutes and it’s ready to go. Fit perfectly! The first one I replaced was Left rear it’s been in for 3-4 years and still works great. I just replaced the right rear last week. Great Dorman quality!

installed & working well
This item seems like a "winner." Been installed for a couple months. F.Y.I. - The disassembly of the door to get this item in (& the failed existing parts out) is NOT inconsequential. I'd recommend ordering the correct plastic whole-inner-door seal ($35-50) BEFORE you disassemble the inner door to replace the regulator. Expect the plastic seal to end up unusable. You don't want to wreck the plastic seal & have to temporarily assemble the door just to wait for the seal to arrive. The actual regulator portion of the repair is not bad. Easy to spot Dorman's OE Fixes. Nice to have someone THINKING about, then DOIN SOMETHING about these type of part improvements.

Don't pay double the price by using a shop to install...simple install with basic tools.
I had Tire Kingdom replace my lh rear power window regulator when the window fell as I was waiting to pick my son up. I freaked, it was raining, and just plain did not put me in a 'happy place'. They, Tire Kingdom replaced it, I cannot provide the exact cost (most every time we've sent a vehicle in there, it's $600 and it's a laugh for us, just not funny). Anyway, the window would travel up slower than normal and now when used, the sound of metal scrapping is heard. This product went in easily and was done in under 2 hours. There's no 'drag', it works as if it were factory correct. I am recommending that you get this part, Dorman is a reputable brand (I've used since the '80's), and I've had it installed and working since early February 2020.

Perfect fit replacement Window Regulator for ‘01 Suburban
It works perfectly. Fit was perfect. No issues at all for this Dorman window regulator. Remember to use lithium grease on all the friction surfaces to enhance operation and long life.
