First, be careful with this bulb and don't take it for granted. the energy it produces is no joke. Make sure to think through where and how you use it. I've used mine in my garage, air handler and other rooms. I've had great results putting it in the bathroom and it sterilizes everything. Put it in there , let it rip for an hour then turn on the exhaust fan. I have multiple cats and will kick all the cats out and put the light in the room with the door shut. It eliminates cat odors extremely well. I've used it around their cat boxes as well and I can tell you it WORKS. Just be sure to get all cats and pets out of the room. It makes carpets smell better and blankets too. Just remember this light is "anti life", take using it seriously. My one complaint is that the top of the bulb on mine has a crack in it since I got it. Fortunately it works fine but I'm sure anyday now it's going to stop working. My bulb is not the 185nm but still makes a slight ozone smell....don't listen to reviews that say it smells harsh...it's doesn't. Open a window or turn on the exhaust vent and it sucks it out anyway. It's not strong smelling and at least to me, wasn't irritating at all. Much better then the smell that was there before!

These lights do work! I have a dog with allergies/skin problems and the carpet in out Master Bedroom was quite stinky from him, even after having a professional clean it. I put three of these lights in the room and used like another review had recommended and it worked. Very pleased as we will be selling our house soon.

This product is well designed. The delay start timer is an essential safety feature very useful for avoiding UVC light exposure. The pull-off connector in the power line prevents damage to the connection ends when accidently pulled. The base is heavy enough for the lamp to stay stable. I have to take off one star though, because the socket or timer stopped working after 15 month - the timer still lights up but no electricity goes into the lamp.

This thing has made our shopping so much easier. It's strong enough to disinfect at close range. However, after a couple of days use, I got a sunburn on my forehead and toes (damn you flip flops). I got laser protective goggles that can handle the wavelength and now take care to cover my skin. No problems and disinfectant free groceries!

It will do fine for the first 15 times, now showing on a uv meter test out put shows the UV-C bulb power low emitting. Fails in a 150 square foot room. Refer to consumer report and the Biological CDC studies. Only the industrial or Hospital Large grade system for a true results, Nice idea, but it is really a bathroom germ killer. Please understand theses UV-C will not kill Bedbugs, Cockroaches, nor spiders. Also remember that all UV-C bulbs are not made well, even the well known companies have their bulbs made from the same line of the lower brands. Please remember these UV-C are still dangerous for humans and other animals !!!

This UV light is really easy to use and worth every single penny that i’ve spent.

Sheerness,thickness what in the world am I supposed to be reviewing this is a light not a toy however for the reasons that I have used it it seems to be doing great. I can hear those screams those tiny little screams emitting from the Room in which this is placed yes bacteria gone . .well I think so. .

It gives a relatively weak illumination. I use it just in a moderately-sized bedroom and I have serious doubts it would successfully cover 400 sq feet....
