Will this work with a TI-83 plus calculator?

Yes, it works perfectly. I used this for my TI-83 Plus on a Windows PC.

Could this USB work for Casio graph 65 too?

No. It's only made for Texas Instruments graphing calculators (except the TI-82 and TI-85).

Does this cable function with a ti-86? ti's site suggests that ti-connect will work with this cable for the ti-86 but this site says no.

As far as I know it should be able to connect to it as they have the same style of connector.

Can this cable store notes from the computer to my TI-83 Plus?

I have used it with my TI-89 and it works perfectly.If the TI-83 supports the application, the cable is going to work correctly.If you buy it, better download the most updated driver from the TI web site.
