Good Old-School Wired Earbuds with Balanced Sound and Solid Bass
I bought the SoundMAGIC E11C because I wanted a simple pair of wired earbuds that sounded noticeably better than basic bundled earphones without getting into expensive audiophile gear. I expected good bass, clear vocals, a comfortable fit, and a usable microphone for occasional calls. Overall, they met most of those expectations. The sound is probably the main reason I’d buy these. They have a fairly balanced presentation with enough bass to give music some weight without turning everything into a bass-heavy mess. Vocals come through clearly, and there’s enough treble detail to make the sound feel lively. I’ve found this kind of tuning works well for pop, rock, podcasts, YouTube, and everyday listening. If you’re looking for huge sub-bass or an ultra-detailed audiophile sound, though, these probably aren’t the right earbuds. I also like the small aluminum housings. They feel more substantial than cheap plastic earbuds but are still lightweight enough for long listening sessions. Getting the right silicone tip makes a big difference because a proper seal improves both the bass and passive noise isolation. The cable is another practical plus. It doesn’t seem to tangle as badly as a lot of inexpensive wired earphones, and the inline controls are convenient. My expectations for the microphone were higher based on the description, though. It’s perfectly usable for normal phone calls, but I wouldn’t describe it as consistently “crystal clear,” especially in noisier surroundings. One thing to remember is that these use a regular 3.5mm plug. If your phone only has USB-C, you’ll need a compatible USB-C-to-3.5mm adapter that supports the microphone. **Pros:** balanced and enjoyable sound, good bass without being overwhelming, comfortable small housings, useful passive isolation, aluminum construction, convenient remote and mic, and relatively tangle-resistant cable. **Cons:** microphone quality is only average, bass can sound slightly soft or muddy on some recordings, cable isn’t detachable, and newer phones may require an adapter. For the money, I think the E11C still makes sense if I want dependable wired earbuds for music, calls, commuting, or everyday desk use without worrying about batteries or Bluetooth. They’re not perfect, but the overall sound and build quality make them good value.

Solid so far!
My cat chewed through my previous wired earbuds... Those were solid and had lasted me many years, so I wanted to find some high-quality replacements. So far, I like these! They are super comfortable in my ears. Usually, I find earbuds to be big or painful, so smaller ones work better for me! With that said, these are relatively small, but they don't feel light or cheap. Sound-quality-wise, I'm not an audiophile, so they sound great to me! The price seems to match the quality of the sound, to my untrained ear. My one complaint would be the wire. I think it's supposed to be some sort of material/design to help keep it from tangling, but it's a little bulky and awkward because of that. I only notice it when I have to touch the wire to gather everything up, so it's not really much of a negative! It's got my seal of approval! I will return if anything goes wrong! UPDATE: Still going strong! The only thing I've noticed is that with extensive wear (like, over 6 hours), my ears do start getting a little sore, but maybe that's for the best-it gets me off of my PC to stretch my legs!

I loved it but...
I've used these headphones for listening to media and making calls on my phone or laptop since I bought them in August 2020. Unfortunately, the earbud on the mic side suddenly got significantly quieter and the bass is all but gone. Shame they didn't last as long as I had hoped. I had a good experience with it and I'm not much of an audiophile yet but, ultimately, I wanted more from the sound. Personally, it works best with streams and podcasts (talking/talk shows), as I appreciated not having to turn up the audio all the way just to hear. Well-made productions are elevated. I still remember the first time I used it. Music, what I mostly use headphones for, was fine but the bass is a little lacking. Not a proper fit with the deep bass and repetitive beats of some dance/electronic, techno, and house music. Vocals and instruments fare decently with the likes of indie/alternative, classical, and soundtracks. But I agree with the highs and lows being suppressed. Liked the design and aluminum build, particularly the durable cable and angled jack plug.

Serious pair of headphones for work and music.
I was looking for good pair of headphones for work and for teaching online. I didn’t want a Bluetooth headset and be worried about charging another device. I wanted something discrete ( big headphones where not an option) I was worried about the idea of Inn ear all day . I made my research for days, and I finally found this set. I should mention I didn’t know the brand , so it was a leap of faith. The review, I couldn’t be happier. First the quality is excellent , both build and sound are truly premium. Even the case is very nice and sturdy. I spend 10 hours a day in Zoom working and teaching and I have never felt ear fatigue ( I do use them at a low volume but still the sound is crisp). And I must say the sound quality is so good I’m using them for my music listening and I’m blown away... Hands down , the best set of headphones I have owned. They are worth every penny. This set will last for years.

Worked great until they didn't
These earbuds were awesome when I first bought them. Sound was nice and they were very comfortable. Over the last couple of months I started to notice that the left earbuds had the protective sleeve begin to fade. Fast forward to now and the sleeve has completely fallen off and the wires are exposed. I was using them today and I got a shock in my ear and now they are unusable. Spending almost $50 I expected these earbuds to last me a good couple of years before anything happened to them but less than a year is unacceptable. I take very good care of them and only use them a couple of hours a day.

Disappointing
I bought these to replace a set of 1MORE Dual Driver earbuds that had started to go deaf. Before that I used 1MORE Triple Drivers that eventually fell apart. Sound quality wise, the SoundMAGIC E11C earbuds are about on par with the Dual Drivers. Maybe not quite as crisp, but good enough for phone calls, YouTube, gaming, and some casual music listening. The mic is good, and the volume controls work. Where the SoundMAGIC earbuds fall down more noticeably is fit and finish. They feel cheap. Moreso the insulation than the hard bits. The insulation on the left wire is already breaking after only 15 months, at the spot where it gets squeezed by the adjustable clip. These weren't expensive, but they weren't cheap either, and I was hoping for better longevity. The other annoyance is the tips. These earbuds only came with three, and none of them fit right. The largest tips are the best fit for my ears, but they keep falling out. I'm constantly fiddling and adjusting. I would pay a few more dollars for a better selection of tips. My final impression is thoroughly meh. I'm going to give 1MORE... uh... one more try.

These are the ones!
I have searched for the perfect earbuds for several years. I am always looking for high audio performance in a durable, lightweight slim profile. Wired buds work for me as they are just reliable performers without being fussy. Ive tried many good ones over the years and been tempted to shell out high dollars and purchase high quality wireless buds. But with the landscaping I do all day, thought they would drive me crazy with issues. Searching again for high quality wired buds at a reasonable price, I ran across the sound magic buds. They received high marks and are affordable so I gave them a try. Pretty unbelievable that such an unassuming looking earbud can perform so well. Midrange is warm and full of subtle detail with a strong low end. High end receives a 4/5 as it could use a slight uptick of detail. But that being said, the full mids and base take the cake with the top end performing adequately to give these sound magic buds my highest mark. I will definitely buy again. Sure, you can spend more, but not get a whole lot more.

Why Spend Mega-Bucks?
After experiencing these earbuds, I'm wondering what the high dollar sets have to justify the cost. I'm an older guy and not an audiophile, but do want good sound. The E11C wired earbuds sound excellent. The bass isn't booming but certainly present with clear lows that don't overpower the treble. The treble is clean, crisp, and clear. Both of those main aspects of sound share my ear stage perfectly paired, neither above the other and both unified for what to me is a perfect sound. For the price, these are excellent. I'm gentle with my sets and use these for vr and my main pc, so as far as ruggedness goes I'm not qualified to judge. They seem well made and did come very nicely packaged. Yes, they're produced in China but I've always felt China gets a bad rap sometimes as these earbuds certainly demonstrate. The hard shell case and different size ear fittings are nice extras as well for getting the perfect fit for my ears and a secure place to keep everything when not in use.
