Solid Replacement Bridge Tailpiece for Jazz Archtop Guitar

I bought this for a "Rickenfaker" project guitar. This is a nice, solid piece with some weight to it and mine is flawlessly finished, and well wrapped for shipping. Sadly, this tailpiece, though appropriately and correctly sized for a full-size trapeze tailpiece, was too long for my project guitar body. I still heartily recommend this piece as a winner for use on a full-sized arch top style guitar.

Put this on my LP kit guitar and it just gives it a classy look, maybe more sustain I don't know but the look is worth the money all the way. The plate on the back has no middle hole for the strap but I just put the strap button on the upper screw, the plate also hung over the back as if its made for thicker body guitars than Les Pauls. Thats ok I put the tip of it in a vice and carefully bent it till it snapped and now it fits perfect. Its good

I bought it to replace the original (1960), tailpiece on my Egmond guitar. The better is the solid end for the strings, no more cut strings!. Also the shipping was fine, well packaged, no damage!

There were no mounting screws included and no information as to the proper size screw required to install the tailpiece.

The tailpiece was a great fit. It required fitting and drilling pilot holes for new screw locations. The bridge to tailpiece down angle was really perfect. I’m very pleased with the final fit and finish.

Great tailpiece . Slots are a Lil tricky when resting ingredients but that's the only complaint I have and that may be a user issue..
