It’s a little pricey for a short USB-C to USB-C cable, but definitely worth it. Feels durable.

The difference between usb C and Thunderbolt had me a bit confused at first and i didn't understand the drastic price difference between the products. Maybe this helps someone: USB -C refers to the shape of the connector, but it does not necessarily mean it is a Thunderbolt Cable. Thunderbolt uses the USB C connector in this case, but it’s a lot more then that. If you need just to charge your smartphone, camera or tablet, any USB C cable is fine. If you want to connect your laptop to a dock, a 4K monitor or anything else that has that lightning symbol, make sure to spend the extra money and get a cable like this, else it will not work.

I purchased this for my HP Z27 27" 16:9 4K UHD IPS monitor to work with my 2018 13" Macbook Pro. The monitor came with a 6ft USB-C/Thunderbolt cable but it was way too long as I like to have my laptop in front the monitor and type on the laptop keyboard. This cable is the perfect length for that. I do get a message from the monitor saying that it's not an authorized cable but everything seems to work fine - I can charge my laptop as well as display on the monitor using just one cable. Will update if there are any issues in the future but so far so good. My only gripe so far is that the cable is pretty expensive.

I was looking for a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 cable for my external SSD and this works perfectly. I get the same speed as with the original cable (around 2030 MB/s) Notice that USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 is NOT the same as thunderbolt. I don't have any thunderbolt devices so I don't know if this cable works with them. The box does not mention thunderbolt anywhere.

Needed a slightly longer cable between my Thunderbolt 3 docking station and my laptop. This did the trick. I use the longer version of this cable with another laptop. The increased speed with this (shorter) cable is quite noticeable. I love it. 'Just ordered another one for that other laptop and will keep the longer one in my laptop bag for use on trips.

Work great charging speed is very good.

This Product is True to its Value I just got them today I connected it to My Type C Laptop port and am using it for my Elgato HD60 X capture Card and this is working Smoothly
