Dole Pineapple Chunks, 8 oz Cans, 12 Pack

Very tasty and refreshing. Right size for afternoon snack.

I'm not rating these down for price but man, these are way overpriced right now... Locally we can usually find 20 oz cans (more than double the size of these 8 oz cans) of Dole Pineapple on sale for close to a buck a can. After Subscribe and Save savings, at $6 for the 12, I thought was reasonable... At more than double that after our first subscription, we'll likely cancel if it doesn't drop again. In any case, the product is fantastic! I'm a huge fan of Dole because their pineapple is in 100% juice (not syrup) so you get a refreshing drink with your fruit and it's ripe and natural. Cans are BPA free. Love these 1/2 cup servings because they keep me from devouring pineapple until my mouth is raw, lol. Also love that they don't require pulling out a can opener to enjoy them. The 12 are delivered on a cardboard tray that is easy for stacking in the pantry if you don't have a preferred system for your canned goods. Unfortunately, every Dole Pineapple subscription we've had has only lasted a month before either it goes unavailable or overpriced. Hopefully this one will not be the same! (I'm sure our mailman will appreciate it since these are much lighter than our once 6 qty of 107 oz cans, lol) I'm uploading a pic that I only took after already consuming a can, lol. Yum yum!! Perfect

Usually not a fan of canned fruits or veggies, but Dole pineapple seems to be the exception. Always delicious right out of the can, even at room temperature. Great for cooking or mixing with other fruits for a fruit cocktail.

Tasty pineapple chunks packed in juice. Perfect size fruit portion for an individual.This size prevents left overs stored in an open can in the refrigerator obtaining off flavors. Can provided for storage in all temperatures without puncture worries.

I like these as a night time snack.They are in their on juice and not overly sweet. I also use them for cabobs with shrimp, pork or chicken. Adding any kind of veggie with a light coating of olive oil. I also use pineapple to make a dip which is great with corn chips. All you do is drain the pineapple cut it into smaller pieces (or get a can that's already cut up), and add soft cream cheese. You can add the juice to make it the right thickness. Really good.
