Panasonic Lumix FZ80 and FZ82 User's Guide

This book is a extensive study at this most excellent Lumix FZ80 camera abilities. It is amazing; everything about this great camera is cover in this manual. Feels like I am back in college course learning this just about this camera. Because of Raw Picture Processing almost every thing about the picture can be changed after the picture is taken. Being a photographer since my younger days; understanding this camera capabilities are amazing. One persons review is I just want an automatic camera that I don't have to think about. Which is what this camera is; however with a bit of study this book can help you in any area that you wish to learn more about. Thanks to the author who took the time to write this, so many others have just glossed over a few of its eaisier capabilities. This is a very complicated or easy camera depending "if" you choose to use all of its features. I believe it is worth the try. If you just want a automatic camera, than you picked a great camera.

Graham Houghton is a tech at heart, worked for Kodak and is a great tech writer for many things, my camera included. He digs into the equipment and offers what the provided with equipment don't cover. With helpful honesty he describes features,, work around and tips I do not find in many places. I highly recommend this book.

How a professional could write such a wonderful instruction manual without including an index is beyond me. The diagrams and photos are clear and his references to them are easily understood. His explanations are straightforward. I would have loved this manual if it had had an index.

A fantastic guide, from the ground up, on how to get the best out of this great camera. Graham Houghton's YouTube video tutorials are great, but having this book to guide you through the features this camera has to offer was even better. Easy to understand, and to follow.

So far still images are clear and sharp, 4K video will be coming this weekend at the Seaba Station motorcycle show. Neutral density filters will provide limited depth of field at f2.8 (soft focus background or bokeh). f2.8 is the largest aperture available with this camera. It explains features, but it has NO index, so you can't find what you are looking for without guessing from the table of contents. The photos is the manual are blurry and in black and white, although the captions mention colors. I am struggling with the camera and am disappointed with this manual.

This is a very good book for a beginner photographer like me. I just purchased a Panasonic Lumix FZ 80 and this book has been a big help in learning the different settings and how to access them. The book goes into a great deal of detail which is what I wanted.

The book itself is great. The author wrote the definitive guide for the Lumix FZ80. However the book as shipped from Amazon arrived in box that was dry on the outside, but the book itself was partially soaked in some substance I cannot identify. Reason for 4 stars, again not fault of author. See photos. Must have happened at Amazon warehouse prior to shipping, because other items in box (large American flag, and hardware (nuts & bolts) were dry along with inside of box. Amazon, as always made it easy to get a replacement shipped as soon as possible. Amazon returns are awesome. Thank you!

Is very hapfull

Clearly written and much better than the manual that comes with the camera.

This is a must for owners of this camera as the Panasonic Lumix Owners Manual is very brief and does not cover all items. The only downside is that there have been three updates to the model since the book was published back in 2019. For instance he quotes the wi fi controls and there is no wi fi on the current model ! Still a good buy at the price.
