incredible
i absolutely love slate showers and have installed quite a few now. i ran out of my ''slate sealer'', and wanted to try something new. i was besides myself with how amazing this turned out. the mfg described this as a topical sealer, almost as if it only coats the surface, but i watched it soak in in front of my eyes. it definitely worked like a penetrative sealer. it was a little tough to spread it perfectly even, it does take a little effort to get just right. 2 coats on the pictured shower took about 1/4 of the bottle. really great value, great stuff! permanent ''wet'' look.

It works - really well.
You ever go to a high class place and wonder what they used to get the tile/brick floors looking like they were "wet" because they were so glossy and awesome looking? They might be using Miracle Sealant because that's what my floor looked like after I applied it. I just bought their applicators, but you can probably use any pad with that material and get the same results. But why? Theirs were inexpensive and right there and I knew they would work. Easy application. Spill on and keep pushing (or pulling) the pad in the same direction the entire time over the entire surface to apply. Wear gloves. If you are sensitive to VOC's, get a respirator (not a face mask, a full face respirator with OV (organic vapor) filters - might run $150+; worth it and reusable if you are sensitive). The stuff is low VOC, but if you are in an enclosed area, it gets to 'ya after 10 minutes even with a window/fan. I did two applications. I thought about three, but after two the floor looked so glossy-wet, that I figured I'd see nothing but glossy-reflection if I applied a 3rd coat. Pretty amazing. I used about 1/2 of the bottle on 120 Square feet of unglazed porcelain tiles to do 2 coats (so really, 240 square feet)- that is about 33% more tile coverage than the label said! I'm sure other tiles/brick would have sucked up more, though and put it right at what the label said - about 360 square feet covered. Fantastic product to truly get that "ritzy" feeling for your tile! Now, you know this one works and your search might end!

Slightly darkens grout. Makes grout harder. Does not change tile.
We did a lot of research before trying this. To sum it up this will darken the grout. It doesn't change the color much but it does change it a little bit. In our case it made it look nicer. More coats will darken it even more. Although you probably don't need more than about 1-2 coats. Since it doesn't repel water it actually will allow the grout to change color when it is wet but then the water will quickly dry. When without the sealer the grout will change color when wet and stay wet a lot longer. It doesn't change the look of the tile. Use an applicator that is designed for this. A little bottle can do a LOT of flooring. I didn't even wait 12 hours and was walking all over it. It didn't hurt it but I have heard that it can be a problem. For me it wasn't. If you have to walk on it don't use shoes. Just wear socks. It should be fine. It is dry to the touch in less than an hour. The fumes were not really that bad but I had opened all of my windows and had fans running. It is the worst when it is drying. Once it is dry it doesn't smell. Obviously this is not something you want to get in your eyes or mouth. It is very runny like water and does go a long way. All you do is put it down with the applicator and wait about 5 or so minutes. Don't let it dry. Wipe if off with some towels. It doesn't hurt the towel but I washed them by themselves in the laundry just to be sure. Came out clean. Used hot water. Overall it's a pretty simple process once you know what this stuff will do. Do not expect it to repel water. That simply isn't what this does. It hardens the grout so that nothing can be absorbed into the grout but it does not form a coating over the grout. So it does not appear waterproof and is not waterproofing the floor. Only preventing stains from happening.

Easy apply and attractive sheen
Once I did the prep work prior this solution applied quickly and easily. Nice sheen. Added another coat the next day.

Works as titled
We recently just cleaned the grout in our kitchen and I wanted a sealer to protect it from staining again. It's still porous and standing liquids do leave a wet mark but definitely looks/feels pretty durable and long lasting. The shine isn't amazing but we do notice a big difference than what it was before. We have porcelain wood tiles and I picked this product for a very competitive price, shine and sealing. Application was time consuming and we used 2 layers with it could of using a 3rd but it covered a ton of area with some still left over. I used a washcloth but I think a sponge would be a lot better. Apply generously I'd say.

Very good sealer!!
Very, VERY good stuff! The best I've used in long time! I'd give it a '10โญ๏ธ' rating if I could! Highly recommended!! Definitely brings out the effectiveness in the slate color. Looks very durable. Worth the money, and was easy to apply! Very capatibilty with the 'impregnating' sealer I applied beforehand, too!

Not a GLOSS enhancer, sealer.
Take the other reviews at their word, it does NOT dry to a high gloss, used it on dark slate, browns, greys, purples, oranges, slate dries to its natural color. Iโm sure the sealer works fine, but I needed a gloss enhancement to match the existing project.
