I don’t know what was going on with the primer that was in my kit but the paint was having a really hard time at first. I ended up using the primer from “Citadel” and then things started working out more smoothly. Overall the paint was about as good as “Citadel” (which is what I was looking for) and this kit just so happens to have all of the colors that I need to paint my new army all in one kit. I don’t care so much for the figures that it came with but I am supper glad that it did come with them to try the paint out on before I use it on my own army. The brush is also really good. In my photos I only used the paint from this kit (other than the primer) and the brush to make mine. I wanted to give a true color range with the colors available and I didn’t mix anything. The booklet explains how I made the fire look like that so it’s very easy to follow. I did 1/2 of what the book says and 1/2 follow the picture and then did whatever I wanted to mostly test the paint. I WILL be using this on my warhammer army just for sure I will be using my own primer. I honestly hope that this helps anyone looking to buy this. Oh and a couple dabs of super glue wouldn’t hurt either. The price to quality is great. I don’t know what is up with my primer and why the paint was not really sticking to it even after I tried 2 times but is what it is. I did not really need the primer anyway.

Good starter kit. I love the light cork-rocks and cork-gravels. The grass is great, sets well with the provided glue. Great for beginners like me.

These worked great for my project. I didn't do much with the moss stuff, but all the other materials worked great and it was nice value for the money that basically had everything needed in one box.

Great set. Has almost everything you need to get started with Bases.

Good beginner's kit for model basing. This should be enough to last you through your first few batches of minis, but pretty soon you're going to want to mix things up and buy different terrains. But for the price and what you get, I think it's a good way to get into making your bases nicer. Comes with a good variety to start with for a few landscapes, mix it with some citadel technical paints and shades and you can kinda take it a bit further!.

I’ve used army painter for about a decade now. Great paints and the metallics in my opinion are the best.

I bought this for my son to use with his Warhammer figures and he seems to really like it. Said the set is pretty easy to work with and it adds a little something to the base of the figure. Would buy again

This set contains everything you need to quickly prepare a base. The elements and textures allow you to achieve a good finish on the base details on their own. They can also be painted to further enhance detail and realism.
