Garrett 14" Classifier 1650200

I bought this pan to sift my compost. We compost rabbit manure and kitchen vegetable scraps and coffee grounds. We get rocks and stray items in the mix, so this is nice to sift those items out. Nice product.

Fits 5 gallon bucket perfect. Plan to order more. Strong material that holds up to abuse.

Garrett makes great pans and classifiers and this is no exception. Been abusing it for years and not even one bit of the screening material has cracked. We throw full shovels fulls into it without a thought on top a 5 gallon bucket and shake it down. Works fast and well and helps us get to that yella!

I bought this Garrett Classifier with the Garrett Super Sluice and it works great for removing large to mid sized rocks down to a half inch. This classifier does help to speed up the panning process in removing those rocks although I would prefer a classifier that could remove rocks down to a quarter inch.

I have a collection of classifiers, but was missing this size. It is very handy for getting rid of larger rock when panning for gold. The quality of the classifier seems to be very good and I feel it will hold up for years of use. Garrett is a well known name in the gold panning business and this is a very well priced and sturdy unit. I wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Certainly not the cool gold prospecting job it was made for, but this thing works really well for rapidly cleaning cat litter boxes. I simply put it on top of a 5 gallon bucket and pour the entire contents of the litter box through it. What's left in the pan goes into the garbage, and then I just pour the rest back into the litter box. Takes about a minute and makes things super simple.

This is my preferred classifier. I have both 1/4" and 1/2".
