Kato USA Model Train Products HV1 UNITRACK R730mm Outer Oval Track

WOW!!!! That pretty much sums up my first impression of Kato Unitrack. After anxiously waiting for what seemed like weeks (not really) I received the Kato HV1 Unitrack pack this morning. Unfortunately duty called and I headed into work, BUT as soon as I got home I quickly got to setting up the loop of track on the floor. The track went together quite effortlessly and I was amazed at how sturdy the connection was. One point I’d like to add is that without the Kato Terminal adapter you won’t be able to power the track, unless you have a Kato Powerpack. The detail of the track itself was beyond what I expected. Up until this point my only experience with snap track was Bachmann’s EZ Track. So if you’re like me and in search for a fast and easy to use track system Kato Unitrack is the way to go!

Best quick setup track, wouldn’t run Amtrak cars on any smaller radius. The package got to me fine, just recommended that the ends be taped up or sealed.

Besides being the name of my dog (Kato), the tracks that were to come after Christmas came several days before Christmas! Thank you! The train runs smoothly, no disconnecting while the train is running, easy to put together and take apart! I highly recommend 😄

Kato Unitrack is the best sectional track available. Set is a good value.

A surprisingly small package full of sixteen generous curves and eight straight sections (one with a power feeder) plus a nifty re-railing ramp, if you have long locomotives or rolling stock UniTrack is a solid way to go for temporary or permanent layouts alike.

I wanted a simple loop to run some passenger cars and longer steam engines. Works perfect! The passenger cars do not overhang on the curves too bad. Looks great!

I use Kato Unitrack for my N scale trains and decided to try it for my HO units. Same excellent properties. I'm very happy with Kato products.

Had to replace the power connection track with in a few uses. The joints are not secure or in any way stable. They are a track connector and maybe an 1/8” piece of plastic that joins the pieces. The power connection is loose wires with spade connectors slid onto a brass pin that is in no way durable. Save some cash and buy ez track. Looks pretty and thats about it!

R730は若干大きい半径と思うがそうではない。 特に天賞堂、カツミ、エンドウの動力車を所持している人には R730は必須である。複線にする場合はR790を推奨する。 価格も安く、レールの質も非常に高い。 レイアウトを制作して数ヶ月置きっぱなしにしてもレールの 表面の埃を除去すればすぐに車両を走行させることができる。 カトーの曲線は最小R360からR867迄あり、直線も 非常に沢山あるのでレイアウトを組みやすいので便利だ。 注意点はカトーの動力車はR370でも問題なく通過するのは凄い事だ。 トミックスは動力車によっては最小半径をR600以上を推奨している。 ちなみに天賞堂の動力車(SL等)は最低でもR700以上は欲しい、 R650だとたまに前頭部の一部分が線路に接触してしまいショートする。 カトーの動力車のみ使用する場合はR370でも問題ないという事だ。 Nゲージのレイアウトと比較してもそんなに大きくならないのは 素晴らしい。HOの固定レイアウトを制作したくなる。 ちなみにヨーロッパの動力車はR360でも問題ないので楽しめる。 アメリカの動力車は良いのとダメなものがあるので注意を要する。 なお、Nゲージのレイアウトの場合も同様であるが、他社の レイアウトの場合埃を除去しただけではダメで、更にレイアウト の管理状況によってはレールを磨かないと走行がダメな場合がある。

Wow. Delivery from Japan to Calgary Alberta Canada was expected to take three weeks but the parcel arrived in less than a week. ordered March 31. Long weekend. expected delivery was April 25-may 7. Arrived on April 9Th. Super impressed with the product and I will order more in the future
