Red Lion RL-SPRK200 Sprinkler/Irrigation Pump, 230V, 76 GPM, 2 HP

Works well!

This pump replaced a 2 HP lake pump for my sprinkler system. The old pump was over 15 years old and was still available to purchase, although the price was over $1,200. The Red Lion pump was 1/3 of the cost and was exactly like the old pump in that it was the same size, easy to install and 230 volt. It runs with very low noise and pumps the water from the lake to 9 zones and over 50 sprinkler heads with great pressure. I recommend this to anyone who wants an excellent quality pump at a great price.

This thing was a tragedy. I owned it for thirteen months and used it maybe 4 times before I put it away for the winter inside a heated garage and when I went to hook it up this spring - the impeller went out on it. It supposedly has a two year warranty on it through Red Lion I've tried all four 800 numbers for Red Lion which is also owned by Franklin Electric and absolutely impossible to ever get a hold of anybody. No answering machine, no service, No replies to email (sent 6 of them) on their contact page - they are just in the wind.....

This is a great pump. I had been using another brand and had replaced it three times in 5 years. I think this pump will last a long time. Very well built

This is a heavy-duty sprinkler pump that puts out plenty of pressure but is much more difficult to keep primed than the twenty year old pump it's replacing. I have a 25' deep well with water available at 8' and the pump only 3' from the well but it keeps losing prime. I've tried 3 different configurations of 2" inlet plumbing and valves but the pump still needs to be primed the day after a normal 5 hours of use. Unfortunately, the well does not have a foot valve, but that will be my next mod.

I replaced a home depot pump that was only 3 months old never again will i buy a home depot pump. The inside cover fell apart the screws were stripped out. So i went with a red lion pump lot more power and made out of solid cast iron not a cheap plastic pump. very easy to wire up 230vac primed it and away it went. I never knew my sprinklers would through water that far had to adjust down a little. Thank You, Red lion.

The reviews were mixed on this one, they carry the same pump at my local plumbing and electric store 'grovers'. There was a price drop on Amazon and I pulled the trigger. The directions to wire it up are confusing but I just wired it up how my old 230v pump was. I can run 2 of my sections at once which is amazing. My old pump could only run one section at a time. Seems like this pump is going to last for years. Happy with my purchase.

It's only been installed a couple weeks but runs great, it's also a very quiet pump.

Works great, runs a 1-1/4” sprinkler through 400ft of forestry hose and provides a full 100+ ft of coverage. Still has enough flow to run a second sprinkler too.

Pumps a ton of water and is very quiet.

This company makes products that don’t work. You can not return it.
