Es normal, ese calentamiento hace que la pasta, que al inicio está fría, se vaya calentando y se logre una emulsión para trabajar con tranquilidad, en caso de enfriarse, es necesario calentar el chocolate en baño maría. He logrado un buen refinamiento en 8 horas.

Can someone post some instructions on how to take this apart to clean it?

I haven't taken it apart. I use a toothbrush to clean the crevices and qtips for tough to reach areas. DO NOT USE HARSH SOAPS. Better to use hottest water possible and let dry completely before next use. Hope this helped.
