What is A/C COMPRESSOR CLUTCH:The AC compressor is the core of the automotive air conditioning refrigeration system, which is driven by the engine through an air conditioning clutch. When the compressor is overloaded, the clutch will also protect the compressor under certain conditions.
Caution: Clean the cooling system piping of your car before installing the compressor. If the debris or metal chips in the cooling system piping get stuck in the system, the life of the components will be greatly shortened.
The compressor clutch is a large electromagnet that pulls the clutch plate into the clutch pulley when energized.As long as current is supplied to it, the magnetic field holds the clutch plate tightly on the clutch pulley.

If the system pressure is too high, the single function switch will interrupt the compressor function. The dual function switch first engages the high speed cooling fan in an attempt to reduce the pressure by increasing the heat transfer at the condenser. However, if the system pressure continues to rise after the fan is turned on, the switch will interrupt compressor operation. 7) Hold the clutch hub with the appropriate tool while removing the bolt or nut. 8) Use a puller to remove the clutch plate and hub. 9) It is also recommended to search for relevant installation videos on the Internet.
