I really liked these dummy security cameras; they look just like the real thing and feature a red LED light at night. Just keep in mind that they run on batteries—but they are excellent.

These fake security cameras may not scare off every intruder, but at this price, they're worth a try. Installation was super easy. Comes complete with all mounting hardware and can be mounted in wood, composite, or metal siding, or on a wooden fence. The light isn't too bright, but in a dark area will be noticeable. I've only had mine for a few months and the durability is surprisingly good. I can't speak for their effectiveness, but if it scares off one trespasser or potential burglar, they're worth the price and installation.

This is a time saver for those who cannot afford cameras to monitor. I put these dummy cameras up and it stopped people from using my business dumpster. Just what I needed. The light is on so it looks like they are recording. Plus the person can see the cameras on the post. Easy to install and sturdy.

With new Energizer batteries the red night light only two worked with two of the four units I received. The directional movement is limited to up and down because the battery hooded shroud looks odd if installed at a different angle. They do look real and I'll use them so I did not reach out to the seller.

I purchased these cameras because they use solar power for the blinking light instead of a battery. However, the swivel mount only moves up and down—you cannot adjust the angle properly unless you install the mounting screws at exactly the right position, which is very difficult to do. Once installed, you can’t easily adjust them without completely unscrewing the camera from the wall. That’s a major flaw. Also, the images shown in the product listing suggest that the cameras can swivel more freely, but that is misleading. The adjustment shown is fixed and does not actually work as advertised. My recommendation: do not purchase these cameras—they are poorly designed and misleadingly advertised.
