The plug for the fan uses a cigarette lighter but the cord is fairly long. Since I have them throughout my SUV I don't have to worry about it. Just keep that in mind when purchasing it. Review: WARNING!! WARNING!! - The quality is awful. Walmart fan for $12 was so much better. I think I'll go back and get another one of those. When I open the box, it was not marked, 24 V or 12V. It felt like it was 9V. screws were missing so I could not even attach the clip to one of them. On and off that's it. if I tell you this is the cheapest fan I've ever seen. Please don't waste your money. We might as well not even waste desertcart's time. Matter of fact desertcart needs to take this off their site that's how bad it is. Helped move cool air in a large space
We used this on a long road trip in a minivan with leather interior that seems to take forever to cool down. It works exactly as stated. It does have an oscillating feature and an on/off switch. It isn't obnoxiously loud but it does somewhat obstruct view if used in the front of the vehicle due to it's size. The picture shows size comparison to the rear view mirror. Overall, good purchase and fair price.

Oscillation feature is weak, but ok fan overall
Fine little fan, but oscillator is not strong enough to work unless the unit is hanging with zero resistance. Not a bad fan overall.

Great fan, colors a little weird In the 21st century
