I purchased these because I was tired of using plastic products for EVERYTHING and wanted to take apple juice to work. They are well constructed and made of thick glass. They hold cold juice without ice for 2+ hours in my lunchbox. The seal works great as I have not had any accidents yet. They carry well in my hand. They do well in the dishwasher. They are well made and a great value.

It's great for homemade carbonated water, flavored water, smoothies, or just plain water. I take this everywhere with me. It's great to keep it empty. Go through airport security. Then fill it up. Super easy to clean. We normally just stick it in the dishwasher (glass and lid). But once in a while, hand wash it with a brush. Especially when you use it for your dark flavored/powdered drinks or smoothies. I've never had this leak. I've had this filled, tumble all over my giant work back, even roll off my bag and down the car floor on some crazy city traffic when driving LOL

Came back and took one star off for the lids. They are pretty but the metal cover separates from the plastic over time. Without the silver cover, the plastic doesn’t look that great, with glue residue, etc. I recommend that the manufacturer make a lid with just one material. Other than that, the o-rings come out easy for cleaning, and the glass bottles are great for smoothies.

I love how these glass bottles are durable and the seal on the lids are quite tight but not too difficult to remove. Good amount in the set for the cost of them. Even bought an additional set since they were so great. No weird smell to them either.
