Great bluegrass picks
I really like these picks! They are an excellent alternative to the higher priced options on the market. They play great, and are easy to grip. The material has a great thickness, and feels very durable. I’ll be buying more whenever I inevitably loose them lol.

Just about as great as the boutique mandolin picks!
My new favorite "cheap" mandolin pick, although the quality of this pick is not cheap in any way. I'm comparing them to Blue Chip picks which I've been using regularly and which I really love. The comparison is that these Dunlop picks are 95% of what the Blue Chips are but at less than 10% of the price. That is a deal. In fact, I've been playing with these Dunlops more than my Blue Chips lately and I'm very satisfied with them. They glide off the strings nicely with a great tone and the texture is easy to grip for me. I love the big rounded triangles. These picks are a game changer if I want to play out and not lose my expensive picks. Highly recommend for mandolin!

Great pick for bluegrass
I haven’t tried them all, but I’d say this is one of the best picks on Amazon for bluegrass. With the size being slightly larger than a stands pick, it makes it more comfortable to hold on to it. The way that the edges are cut are really perfect for quick picking and smooth sounds. I keep this on my wishlist for people to get me for birthdays or holidays.

Best I’ve ever used!
Been on a pick quest lately. Need something that won’t slip, won’t drop, and works for an Irish Tenor Banjo. These picks are great! Was thinking of a Blue Chip, but not any more.

The Best!
The best picks for mandolin, if you're learning buy these. I score them on both sides to give them better grip, but the size shape and fitment in your hand is unsurpassed.

Interesting feel
Has an interesting feel. Pretty firm but oddly good. It does make a bit of noise on the strings on my acoustic which bothered my fellow guitar player. Didn't really bother me because I'm getting used to it and love the feel on the edges of the pick. I'd but it again

Pricey but pretty good
I normally play a triangle pick. Although these are more expensive than the picks I usually use, they're not outrageously so like some other 'high-end' picks. I tried these playing bluegrass and on my electrics where I like a thicker pick. I could hear a difference, with the Primetone sounding better than my usuals - the notes were fuller, warmer, particularly with the electrics.

These are them
Picks matter, and this is the best you can get for rhythm playing and smoothish lead. Also a great Mando pick. This whole line in different shapes is a must buy

Well constructed. Good tone. Nice size.
I really like these picks for my octave mandolin. Considering how expensive some other brands are (e.g., Blue Chip), these are a good value. I worried that I wouldn't like how thick they are, as 1.4mm is pretty chunky. But, I find it gives you the most flexibility (no pun intended) because you can simply loosen your grip to reduce the tension and volume, or you can go harder and get more volume when you want. I find it quite easy to play quietly if I want to, and actually the rigidity of the pick means you hardly have to do any work to get a nice quiet sound. If you really need something that will flex, this isn't the pick for you. The size is also just awesome. I don't know why, but I had such a hard time on the mandolin with a small pick. This one never feels like it's going to fall out of my hand. I am mostly a fingerstyle guitarist, so perhaps I just don't have a good pick technique... who knows. Anyway, highly recommended.

Excellent picks!
Love these picks, great for bluegrass style picking and for bringing projection and brightness out of your acoustic. I’ve become so used to them I’ve started using them for electric guitar as well. More than a match for a Bluechip TP, but at a relative fraction of the cost. Well worth the money for a pack of three. Highly recommended!

Excelente
