Outdoor Wide Brim Sun Protect Hat, Double Layer Classic US Combat Army Style Bush Jungle Sun Cap for Fishing Hunting Camping

I've never added a photo to a review but when it comes to apparel I want to see how something looks. I was pleasantly surprised by this hat. I am a nature photographer and I've been looking for a hat to fit my specific needs. I have tried others that fell short. This one was just what I have been looking for. The brim is wide enough to not only provide shade but also to stop glare from entering the eyepiece of my camera. The brim also has the perfect amount of stiffness to maintain it's shape but just as important to me is the amount of flexibility (floppiness) to be able to look through the camera's viewfinder with the camera in portrait (vertical) position. Ball caps and hats with stiffer brims have to be pushed back on your head or removed thus eliminating their ability to reduce glare. This hat works perfectly! The material is a nice cotton. I was concerned when ordering that the color would be too light because the example shown on Amazon looks more ivory. I wanted a true khaki color. What I received is a light khaki. I am very pleased with it! This hat may not be the coolest hat out there. The vents in the top are small and some other synthetic fabrics may (or may not) breathe better but this cotton hat works for my needs. I also thought I wouldn't use the strap but moments after this photo was taken a big gust of wind came and tried to steal my new hat. I quickly changed my mind. It's also been convenient for when I want to remove the hat and let it hang behind me. I appreciate anything that frees up my hands or space in camera bag. Then there is the matter of value. This hat is absolutely worth the money! I highly recommend this hat!

Arrived well packaged and it’s perfect for being under the sun. I always burn, never tan, so this is wide enough to also cover my neckline and not get sunburned. It’s light and airy, and it’s the perfect size!! I am really enjoying this hat 😊

Nice firm hat, protects well against sun rays, I would have liked a little better ventilation but the material is good either way. Has a very long drawstring which gets in the way at work, other than that pretty decent hat

This hat is a nice hat for the money. Not Mil-Spec, but has side air vents, and snap side brims. Fits my size 7 3/8 very well. I like that the brim is reinforced with many rows of stitching, which makes for a nice look that doesn't just flop around and lose the shape. The double liner is comfortable and cool. I like it for hiking or everyday wear. Can't go wrong for the price. I will probably buy another in a different color.

cheap material and very oversized cap portion. all things considered, it's a good deal for the price, and i don't expect the snaps to last long. I've used this a few times to keep the sun off me and it's great for that, just don't expect any high quality multi year product.

I REALLY like this hat! It fits my head nicely, stays in place and the brim is not too floppy but wide enough to.keep the sun off my face and neck. 10/10 No notes.

I like this $14 floppy bush hat so much I purchased three of them. Well made, durable, and at a price point where it won't be too bothersome if it goes astray in some way. Not truly "mil-spec", so if that's your general issue thing, then best to look elsewhere. I have several hats in this style, including a few issued to me over the years at various times and for various reasons and regions. I collect hats. I have a lot of hats. The hat band is a nice touch. I like it. It is securely sewn into the hat under the rear most hatband loop, and loose around the rest of the crown. The brim can be stiffened and shaped with some starch and a hot clothing steam iron, if one feels so inclined. You may want to dampen it first with some water from a spray bottle. This is a well made floppy bush hat or 'boonie' at a modest price point. Easily rolled and stowed, in a car, luggage, backpack, jacket or coat pocket or shoulder strap (what some people may arguably refer to as an "epaulette").

This is an excellent boonie hat,and brown is nice for a change. Price good.

What a great product. Real cotton and in a ripstop weave for durability. It is indeed double layer material on the top and sides of the hat. This makes it an ideal candidate to take a waterproof fabric spray. Even without a fabric spray it kept my head dry in the rain. In the summer it will be fairly cool to wear and keep the sun/ heat off my head. It is indeed on the small side. But my head is on the smaller side for a man. So the hat fits me fine. If your head is on the larger size the hat will be too small. Who remembers Indiana Jones? Well this is kind of hat he would wear. Swashbuckling his way around the desert, defeating ne'er-do-wells, liberating holy relics and maidens in distress (or that dress). This is a great hat for the adventurer, buccaneer or desperado. If you are one of these, or perhaps all three, you should buy one of these hats.

Bel cappello, giusta misura della tesa, copre bene il collo dal Sole a picco, lo si può piegare su sé stesso per metterlo in zaino, e ritorna in forma senza problemi, non l'ho provato con la pioggia, forse leggera non credo problemi, sotto tanta pioggia credo s'inzuppi! È doppio la copertura della testa, con il caldo nessun problema, ma può essere soggettivo. Amazon come sempre perfetti.
