"Woodland" Cedar & Patchouli Beard Butter

Absolutely amazing. I use this as an aftershave and body cream. Just a tad greasy BUT it's perfect and good for my skin. A little really goes a long way. For short hair, I use it as styling cream, has a very light hold and keeps it lose. Fragrance is very masculine like, and stays all day. The Beach Blend does not smell like lemon or grass... It is the smell of a bright, open, beach house that is clean, hardwood floors and leather sofas. Lol best I can describe. This Greek approves!

Nice scent and good melt point. Has a fair amount of sheen after product is applied and brushed in. It's very likely that I'll add this product as part of my beard care routine.

I am shocked at how well this works. It fully soaked into my beard and it doesn’t come out when I brush it. It doesn’t just stick to the outside of the hairs. It actually soaks in all of the way and leaves my beard hairs nice and soft. While it is on the thicker side like a candle wax, you just rub it between your hands and then rub it into your beard. I love that it does not have a scent. This is much better than any leave in conditioner or moisturizer I have tried before.

Decent smell of citrus. I like it. Not a huge fan of the pasty hair dep beard butter texture, it's not my favorite.

As my beard has grown longer, I've found that beard oils don't really work anymore and beard balms make my beard feel too stiff and bristly. Enter Beard Butter: It's smooth and creamy and has enough hold to get rid of the frizz without making my beard feel stiff and bristly. The Black Light scent is pleasant and long-lasting without being overbearing. It has something of a generic cologne scent that I can't quite put my finger on. If you have a short beard, beard oils are great. If you have a long beard and need to keep it styled and in place probably go with a beard balm. However, for day-to-day use to get my beard looking and feeling its best, this beard butter is the way to go.

I recently gave the Fresh Beards Black Light Beard Butter a try, and while it has some positive aspects, I found the product to be a bit sticky, making the overall experience less than ideal. The Black Light scent is subtle yet appealing, adding a pleasant aroma to my beard that I enjoyed throughout the day. 2. Nourishing Properties: In terms of nourishing properties, the beard butter did provide some hydration to my facial hair. It helped reduce dryness and provided a bit of shine to my beard, which was a plus. Cons: 1. Stickiness: The major drawback for me was the noticeable stickiness of the beard butter. Upon application, it left a tacky residue that took some getting used to. It felt a bit heavy on the beard, and the stickiness lingered longer than I would have preferred. 2. Difficulty in Removal: Removing the beard butter proved to be a bit challenging. Even with thorough washing, the stickiness persisted, and it took more effort than expected to completely get rid of the residue. This made the grooming routine less convenient. In conclusion, the Fresh Beards Black Light Beard Butter has its merits, especially in terms of fragrance and moisturizing properties. However, the stickiness and difficulty in removal were significant drawbacks for me. If you don't mind the tacky feel and are willing to put in the extra effort for thorough removal, it might still be worth a try.

I ordered this product at the recommendation of a beardsman on YouTube. I got this product yesterday but didn't open it until today. I tried it in conjuction with my "go to" beard oil and conditioner from Smooth Viking. I must say my SV products make my beard soft and I get a lot of compliments on its softness and appearance. However, adding this Fresh Beards "Black Light" Beard Butter to that made it noticeably even softer with just the first application. And the scent, Smooth Cologne, is a very subtle one that really makes my beard smell nice. Yikes! I immediately orderd more. I don't want to run out. If you are looking for a great beard butter, this is hands down the one you want.
