Sturdy, super easy to assemble, easy to move and adjust. The wood is a natural, warm color. It’s a good weight: Not at all flimsy and not too heavy to move. The reviews I read before buying made me think assembly might be problematic. Now I think they must have had the illustrations upside down because that’s the only way you wouldn’t be able to finish putting it together. Couldn’t have been faster and easier unless it had come preassembled. I was also pleased with the quality of the product considering it was offered at such a reasonable price.

I'd been suffering through functional issues with an easel that I purchased 20+ years ago which could not manage my avid return to painting as stress-relief from COVID lockdown. Painting every day after a 15 year hiatus from it, the easel began to refuse to lock canvas holding brackets into place.I was reluctant to purchase something sight unseen/untouched, but local shopping proved fruitless. I needed something that was versatile, lightweight, functional, and affordable. I also HATE having to return anything I do not like. After months of reviewing and debate, I decided to purchase this one. My painting studio is in our basement, but it has a lower ceiling height than standard (7.5'), so I was also worried about working height for this easel.I could not be more happy.I read reviews on this easel expressing frustration with the lack of clear instructions, which offer ONLY diagram assembly (graphic illustrations, nothing written), but between me and my spouse, I figured we could do it.When we opened up the box, we noticed that bolts, knobs and other small pieces were packaged in plastic and labeled with a letter matched to the diagram. So...we laid out the parts and got to work. We made a couple of mistakes early due to confusion about how pieces fit together through our interpretation of the diagram; however, this was quickly corrected. Within 20 minutes, we had it put together.While it's heavier than my old one, I could easily lift it, but I purchased this one for its wheels which make it simple to maneuver. This easel takes up less space than my old one which has a deeper footprint due to its design (triangular base).This new one is highly functional, easy to adjust, allows multiple angles (including flat), and the wood is lovely. It is sturdy and well-crafted. My only complaint is that I had to get used to dealing with the way the slider piece works with the brackets which hold the canvas. Since my old one is not this sophisticated (it was a cheap one...what I could afford at the time), I quickly realized that I simply needed to learn how this one works. And all is well.I highly recommend this easel. It is consistent with what I see educational in painting studios. The price is excellent considering how well-made and functional it is. Makes me feel like a legit painter. ;)

I don't do reviews often but I had to for this easel. I received everything, the directions were very good and the wood is quality. My one gripe is the hinges are very cheap but the placement isn't going to get much wear. It took me less than an hour to put together. All the sliders work well but I will wax them to make them slide better. All and all I am very satisfied and would recommend buying this easel.

If you’ve never assembled an easel before, this one may be moderately challenging. I found a few YouTube videos, but very little guidance for this specific model. Between the instructions included with the easel—which contained at least one errors, by my reckoning—Youtube videos, and my own common sense (I’m an engineer 😊), I managed to put it together in about two hours.Right away, I encountered a problem. Step 1—assembling the base—couldn’t be completed according to the instructions because several connector holes were misaligned. My handy-dandy drill took care of that, although I’m pretty sure drilling new holes made the easel unreturnable!Now that it’s assembled, I’m pleased with it. It’s heavy, all wood (nice) and it appears sturdy and very functional. I'm figuring my granddaughter will love it, But what do I know? I’m just an engineer. 😊 Peace to all.

Love my Beech Wood Studio Art Easel. It is an excellent value; I love the easy to follow directions that allowed for stress-free assembly. It moves around the studio with ease; it's sturdy but not too heavy. I can lay it flat for watercolor washes or set it up for other painting projects. It is the PERFECT addition to my studio for all my painting projects.

Wow. So nice especially for the price! Solid quality wood pieces. All were numbered which was a huge help for putting together. Even better, all of the various screws and knobs and such were lettered, making it so much easier to get the correct ones. All set up in my studio and working smoothly - so nice after fighting with my old easel when adjusting.

It's amazing! I got it as a gift to myself.It's fully adjustable, it's big, definitely worth it, and it's on wheels if I want to move it, nice and sturdy, I could go on. 😝!!

After watching a video online many times about this easel, I knew I had to have one. Today it arrived. It was a bit fiddly to put together but once you had the parts around the right way and lined up the holes with the screws, it was straightforward. The main part of the easel is prebuilt. The wood and the whole easel are solidly made so in my mind value for money. I love it. The fact that the easel is multifunctional. i.e you can lie your canvas flat, which is what appealed to me. Also the size of the easel and the sizes of the canvases that can fit on it is just right if you only have a small art studio like me.

Incredibly happy with this purchase. This is the first studio easel I’ve ever found that can accommodate large and small paintings. A typical easel will often hit the ceiling if you raise the cradle too high, but the ingenious design of this easel allows you to adjust the mast separately, making this an ideal for anyone who doesn’t have vaulted ceilings. Can be used as a drafting board support. I’ve replaced 2 easels and a drafting table with this single easel. Surprisingly sturdy in light of the fact that you have to assemble it yourself, but the assembly is relatively easy. Angle adjustments are intuitive with the black knobs. Multi-purposeful and takes up very little space- can be folded up and put away- will fit in most standard size closets. Cradles can be removed and flipped easily to suit your specific needs. Extremely versatile. Essential for any home studio.

Nein, da könnte sich ein schwedisches Möbelhaus nicht nur Scheiben von abschneiden. Die sollten diesen Hersteller engagieren.Das Produkt Selbstinstallation stabil und sehr wertig. Es spielt locker in der Profiliga. Man kann senkrecht und waagerecht arbeiten und in jedem Winkel dazwischen. È fatto davvero molto bene, regge diverse tele che posso lasciare ad asciugare. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, ma occhio che il prezzo cambia nel tempo. Vale la pena monitorarlo per un po’ per acquistarlo quando è più conveniente.
