Why does this harness work on a 2000 & 2002 but not 2001 gs300 n

Is this for factory pioneer amps or will it work the Nakamichi system?

If your factory amp is located behind the glove box, this will work.

So to bypass the factory amp just unplug the 2 bottom connectors from the factory amp and plug the kit into them and run the loose ends to the radio?

You unplug the white connector set 10-pin/6-pin (amp output to speakers). Connect the LS02B harness and run it back to the stereo location. Then connect the aftermarket speaker/power wiring to the LS02B harness.
