I am so glad to have found this text
I am so glad to have found this text! I continuously refer back to it to gain a deeper understanding of charts, as it's method of analyzing aspects through planetary positions in their houses is far more thorough than what you will find in other books. It is rare to find an astrology book that will help you in such a specific and concise manner. I agree with a previous review in that the derivative house meanings aren't so useful but they are only a small portion of the book and I only dislike it because it is too analytical for me to get anything out of it. An astrology book that is TOO analytical is fine by me. One day I might get to that point where I can actually use it. The book's main focus is on going through each house, and identifying the meaning of all the aspects to each planet when it is placed in that house. (correction: not all aspects. some are left out.) It's probably my favorite astro book I have right now and I recommend it to anyone who wants a serious understanding of the subject.

Astrology? Bring it on.
If you want me - I'll be in my reading chair. It will take me a while to absorb this information. Planets in Houses could be a very confusing book if you don't comprehend Horary astrology and/or "turning" the chart. Definitely not a beginning astrology book; however, I find it very interesting. Live and learn.

A great book on the derivative house system.
This is a great book on the derivative house system. The techniques seem to be accurate. I use this book all the time now when looking a my chart and other people I know. The book will give one plenty to think about in terms of how to apply a planet's position in a sign to houses. Lots of food for thought in astrological terms. I highly recommend this book.

Great Book, Would Buy Again
This book is a bit confusing at first, and it approaches house interpretations in relation to the planets in them and their aspects to planets in other houses. It's very interesting and I'm glad I got it, would definitely get it again!

Confusing Book
This book by Pelletier is very confusing to me. I have tried to understand it but it just does not make sense to me yet, after trying to understand it several times. For some unknown (to me) reason, he breaks each planet in house into twelve more planets in houses, with all their corresponding meanings. As a consequence, I don't feel I can use it to determine and understand meanings of planets in houses. It's just too complex.
