Can you wear socks after applying?

You can wear socks while using CornStick, but you should make sure to cover the corn with a bandage to assure that the product stays on the corn and off of the surrounding skin and clothes.

When the corn turns stark white, do you still apply, or do you wait for the dead skin to fall off?

You still reapply. It will literally start to fall off, when it's ready. You won't have to do anything. Just don't pull off your non-calloused skin, or when you reapply it will irritate that area somewhat.

I agree it's expensive, but it does help better than anything I've ever tried. The stick last a long time, so that's a good thing when it comes to the cost. You might want to cover it with a band aid after applying ( it helped me).
