What is this dog's height from the bottom of his feet to the top of his head?

Wolfgang is from the 16 inch Dog Collection from Douglas. He is approximately 11 inches from the top of his head to his feet, and 16 inches from the tip of his nose to the tip of his tail. I hope that helps. Vicki

The ears are sewn down to the head halfway down the ear. Should that be clipped to allow ear to be loose are are they supposed to stay stitched?

We have 2 of these purchased 2 years apart. The first ones ears are not sewn down. The second ones are sewn down in one spot but could easily be detached with a seam ripper if that’s what you wanted without destroying the stuffed animal. Honestly it’s quite comical that I’m just now seeing the differences in these stuffed animals years later. We now have a real German short haired pointer puppy & when she outgrew her tiny collar we put it on one of the stuffed animals.

Are his legs too thin and wobbly to sort of stand up? They look thinner than other douglas dogs' legs.

This is the small one but he stands strong with wire in his legs. Great for a tumble with kids and cute enough for me a German Short haired Pointer raiser.

Is this puppy attached to the little blanket?

No. Not attached and a blanket does not come with the dog.
