Fallen in Love

I love the whole series and couldn't reccomend it more! It's sweet and interesting and this book works well with the series or can be a stand alone I think (shares characters and the world/lore) but it's got a different dynamic than the other books since the focus is more of cam than daniel/lucinda. It's well written and deeply enjoyable!

This book is a nice little extra book that tells 4 nice love stories. I of course personally loved Luce and Daniels story the most it was just so nice!SpoilersShelby and MilesTakes place (when they had gone in the past looking for Luce) right after Daniel had told them to go home but Shelby and Miles end up in the middle ages by mistake and seek to find an announcer to take them back home they end up seeing a past Luce, heartbroken that she has not seen Daniel and Shelby and Miles promise her that they will bring him to her during the Valentines festival, they then see Roland (from there present) who tells them that he will get Daniel there and he will give them an announcer to go home. As the night moves on Shelby and Miles become closer and share a kiss.Roland and RosalineRoland seeks Daniel to bring him to the Valentines fair but ends up passing past Rosaline's (a girl that Roland was deeply in love with) castle and remembers the love that they had but how he went to go ask Cam in which he should tell her that he's an angel but Cam tells him to break it off now, Roland listened but Roland now regrets it. Roland wishes to apologize to Rosaline but doesn't when he see that she has a child and husband and another baby on the way. Rosaline's husband has to go off to a war but when he try's to take off Roland lies to him and tells him that he will take his place in battle that he should stay there with his wife and kids. Roland then seeks Daniel again until he comes across Arriane who tells Roland that Daniel is already on his way there.Arriane and TessArriane is and angel and Tess is a demon who are in love but must keep it a secret. However Tess tells Arriane that she had told Lucifer about their love and that they could be together if Arriane joined her. Arriane becomes upset and tells Tess that he was lying that the only reason he said that was so that she could tip the scale. Arriane and Tess get to an argument, Arriane breaks up with Tess and leaves. Arriane then feels that something had happened to Tess and goes searching for. When Arriane finds her, Tess had hurt herself, Arriane try's to help her but Tess blood burns Arriane's skin and Arriane's blood burns Tess (that will leave marks, this is what caused the scars that Arriane has) Arriane tells Tess that she will send someone to help her but also fully accepts that they really can't be together.Luce and DanielThis is an untold story that belonged in Passion. Luce cleaves with her past self, she finds out that she is poor and that Daniel is a knight, Bill tells Luce that this is the only Valentines Day that they ever spend together and tells her that he is going to leave for a little and tells Luce to enjoy to just a least have sometime off, Luce agrees. When she arrives home her family is getting really for the Valentines festival in which they will be having a masquerade ball. Luce worries that she won't see Daniel but Bill had said that he would be there. Luce goes to the festival and joins in the dancing but worries where Daniel is as it gets later and later, finally Daniel shows up where he takes her away from the Valentines masquerade and into a forest where Daniel had done something very special for Luce and they spend the rest of Valentines Days together.

Arrived well pack. I'm anxious to read it.

Book arrived in lovely condition.Each story in it was so charming and dreamy! Daniel was one of the first book-boys who had me in a daze and left me pining for more lol. I loved every one of them. I recommend this to anyone and everyone, with or without the other books in the series.Thanks very much <3

I read this book out-of-order in the “Fallen” series. It is meant to be the fourth book, in between Passion and Rapture. If you haven’t read the preceding Fallen books, you should read them before reading this.Fallen in Love is a collection of four short stories, centered around Valentine’s Day, about the characters from the Fallen novels. They are all in Medieval England, during the time when Luce is going through time in the announcers and everyone else is following her.The first story is about Shelby and Miles, and is called “Love Where You Least Expect It: The Valentine of Shelby and Miles”. It starts as they step out of an announcer into Medieval England while trying to find their way back home. They come across the past version of Luce as well as the present Roland. It’s hard to say more than that without spoilers, unfortunately. I will say that I liked this story. I thought it was sweet and well written. It was actually my favorite out of all of them.The second story is about Roland, and is called, “Love Lessons: The Valentine of Roland”. It tells the reader about Roland’s lost love that he left behind. I thought it was well written as well, but it was a little sad. Despite that, I still thought it was a good story and it gave Roland’s character more depth.The third story is about Arriane, and is called, “Burning Love: The Ballad of Arriane. This one was really interesting because it explains how Arriane got the burn scars on her neck. I thought it was a great story and I was really invested, but I was let down by the ending. Just like Roland’s story though, this story gives more depth to Arriane’s character and explains her and her motives a little more.The fourth story is about Luce and Daniel, and is called, Endless Love: The Valentine of Daniel and Lucenda. This story is pretty typical of the the past relationship glimpses you see in Passion. This story is important because, as Bill tells Luce, this is the only Valentine’s Day Luce and Daniel ever spent together. The Lucenda of this time period is a poor commoner and Daniel is a knight. Lucenda believes she and Daniel can’t be together because of the differences of their class status. Nevertheless, Lucenda hopes he will show up to see her at the Valentine’s Day event outside of the castle. This story was my second favorite. It was a little suspenseful and it was sweet.All in all, they were all good stories, I just found a few of them kind of depressing, and therefore, not my kind of stories. I like happy endings, I can’t help it. They were all well written and I felt invested in all of them. I think if you are a fan of the series, you should read this. If you’re reading the series, but not in love with it, you can skip this and still be able to follow what’s going on in Rapture. Ich mag die Fallen-Reihe ja sehr gerne und darum fand ich es umso besser, also ich dieses Buch entdeckte.Es sind lauter kleine Kurzgeschichten rund um verschiedene Paare. Man lernt die Protas aus der Hauptreihe besser kennen, verstehen, und begleitet sie auf ihren individuellen Reisen und Abenteuern.Eine sehr tolle Ergänzung zu der Reihe! Ich find es großartig.

Shorter than I expected I read it in an afternoon, but I really liked it, I would suggest it to any Fallen fans to buy it, it was beautiful and easy and a little heartwrenching
