EDIT: The brand offered me a full refund! Maybe I just got a bad batch, or the flavor just isn't for me, but either way, they must really believe in the product, or at least in keeping their customer base happy. Looking past my original impression, I would recommend this product because you may like it, but even if you don't, the company may be willing to refund your purchase if you didn't enjoy it. I might even think about purchasing another tub of this in a different flavor, since I like the dosing of the EAAs in this product. Flavor I purchased was apple pear by the way. ORIGINAL: I'm sure the product itself is doing what's advertised, but the flavor is very bitter and a bit chemical-like. I don't know how best to describe it, but it's not pleasant. I plan on finishing the tub of the stuff I bought, but I'll probably look elsewhere when I want to buy more EAAs.

First time using this brand. The Apple Pear did not taste good to me at all. It had a bad after taste (almost like Nyquil). I am giving 4 stars because although nutrition products are not returnable, Nutrex did see my initial review and offer a refund. That kind of customer service is a lost art these days.

I realize everyone's taste buds are different, however, I found the Apple Pear to taste so bad I had two sips of my first scoop and could not drink more. It is unfortunate that this product cannot be returned. I guess I'm left no choice but to throw it away and consider my money gone. Perhaps other flavors are good, I found this one to be unpalatable.

First of all, I have to say the apple and pear flavor is one of the best apple or pear flavored EAA or BCAA you can find out there. There's no rancid taste. It's like a green apple taste with pear aroma. Now flavor aside, when you have a product with serving size 13g and you have a scoop inside such product with serving size 18g, it makes the customer really question the integrity of the product. Honestly speaking, the hydration aspect of this product is poor compare to XTEND, and the amino acid doesn't provide any energy nor pump either. So it makes one wonder if they just got the flavors and put random values in the back with nothing weighed, measured, nor tested. I drink BCAA for the taste to suppress my sugar cravings, so for that aspect I'd give it a 5 star rating, but in terms of everything else, this product is yet to prove itself. If you are looking for a BCAA or EAA for its benefits I'd recommend a different product.
