Works well for connecting led strip to dmx. Each address needs to be aligned as a number. Then use an rgb color wheel to assign the mix for your color.

Been using over 15 of these for over 5 years and have had no issues and have not had to replace a single one so far. I bought this model because I was looking to try one out without paying a high price. It works well for the LED strips that i am operating. Using to control RGBW LED strip lights in tandem with a number of other DMX controlled lights.

We used this item to control 8 meters of 24V RGBW LED tape rated at 14.4 watts/meter. Each segment was only 2 meters long, four homers. This decoder died after 5 hours use with loads that were less than 1.3 amps per channel and only 2 channels being used.

Product worked great! Hooked up a strip of LED lights and plugged the dmx in and had no trouble controlling it. It was like using any other dmx controlled fixture
