Rust Remover, Rust Dissolving Solution, Reusable and Biodegradable, 128 Fluid Ounces

Used on restoration of two rust covered carbon steel pocket knives. At 12 hours it had stripped away the corrosion and loosened up the slip joints as well. Easy to follow directions. Easy cleanup.

This stuff is great! I had a bunch of rust on the inside of a trunk lid in areas that weren't easily accessible. I sealed the edges and poured almost the whole gallon in and waited. 8 hours later and almost all the rust was gone! You can see by the pictures a before and after of the same area. That last picture you can see the rust line that shows exactly where the solution was sitting and working before I had to rotate it. I can see how it would be expensive in large amounts if you are doing large panels but if you are restoring a car and want to keep most of the original metal then this is great stuff. A little bit of thought on how to contain the product is all you need for this stuff to go a long way.

I restore old trucks with parts that are obsolete (can't get them anymore) and fight corrosion daily. This works great soaked overnight aggitating the solution and parts periodically. Let soak overnight and the rust is dissolved

I love this stuff for soaking old rusty tools, to restore them. Great for restoring old Disston saw blades too. I've reused it a few times, but it doesn't get very many multiple uses before it's black and then coats your tools in a black coating too. It's hard to clean that off of smaller parts, but at least it still removes the rust at that stage. Weakens rapidly each time. Still, it really works great, especially on antiques, I just hoped to reuse it more than I did, for the $30 a gallon pricetag.

Worked as described

I've used this on a rusted bathtub drain protector, with its attaching screw. I soaked the rusty protector and screw in it for over 24 hours. The product does seem to have dissolved some of the rust, but not very much. I also tried it on a painted heating vent cover with small spots of rust from condensation. Too big to immerse. I applied the product and then re-applied it multiple times. Some rust comes off by wiping using a rag soaked with the product, but not much. The product is not what I hope for.

I was working on a project that included nearly 20 feet of chain and a separate pulley. I wanted something that would allow me to soak them rather than to spray. This fit the bill nicely. This is exceptionally easy to work with. After soaking the chain, everything rinsed quite clean. Water rinsing was an added benefit. It was interesting to find that there were areas of paint on the pieces that I hadn't noticed before due to the surrounding rust.

The contents came crystallized and not liquid. Now it’s in my gas tank for my ATV, hopefully I can get it out. I’m thinking it’s been sitting on the shelf for too long.

Totally removes the rust and doesn't etch the steel. Very impressed, and water based product which is super easy for clean-up. Highly Recommend!! Saw a youtube video comparing other brands and this one was one of the best and definitely the best for the price.

Decided to try this instead of wire wheeling parts, works great. This is after about 12 hours, steel pieces worked just as good in an hour. The cast caliper took longer. But nees a good 4 liters to really soak bigger pieces. I do recomend it..

Not as effective as I hoped,

Very impressive stuff. Works fantastic. Just let your rusty stuff soak and it comes out like new. I recommend letting whatever it is soak for 24hrs.
