This cup warmer is the best thing for our tea drinking habit! We used to fix large cups of tea for my husband and I and then end up finishing off a cold cup of tea, having to reheat the same cup of tea multiple times in the microwave, or dumping cold tea down the drain and fixing another hot cup of tea. Now...we can have up to a 16 oz. cup, filled with tea and it NEVER gets cold! Or any cup up to 3 7/8" in diameter.....wich is actually a big cup! We have used a cup on this warmer that is 3 7/8" in diameter and the contents of the cup stayed piping hot. My husband has used a very tall narrow cup on this warmer and it stayed piping hot the entire time. The warmer does NOT have an auto shut-off or an in-line switch on the cord. The power switch is on the front side of the warmer and takes very little pressure to turn on and off. Do NOT put your fingers (or any other part of your skin) on the red warming plate once it is turned on. It warms up quite quickly and takes several minutes to cool off once the power is turned off as well. PLEASE USE COMMON SENSE WHILE USING THIS PRODUCT! When the fluid level is low in the cup, the fluid becomes more than hot enough to burn the inside of your mouth.....sip carefully! As you see in the pictures, I am using a different/larger cup that is thicker than the cup that comes with the warmer. This cup still stays piping hot. My plate needs to be wiped clean, but you can see that when it is on, there is a red light that is emitted from around the power button on the front. The picture of the bottom shows that there are rubber feet that are slightly lower than the cup warming device so that air can circulate underneath it. Do not block the vent on the bottom side. If you smell burning rubber then it is advised that you smell the underside to be sure there isn't an electrical short causing the smell of burning wire insulation coming from inside of it. The power cord is 6' 4" (or 64") long and also comes with a small velcro cord tie on it. That way, if the cord is too long, just tie the excess off to keep your area nice, neat, and orderly. I have had half a cup of tea (the cup in the picture) and the temperature is 130 degrees Fahrenheit. Several people have complained about a foul odor when they first used this warming plate. Yes, it was there. I would say that it lasted several hours but it was nothing bad enough to make us turn either of our cup warmers off or to stop using them. One review stated that this odor caused his/her drink to taste the same as the odor. We did not find this to be true with ours. I would think that this person may actually inhale lightly when sipping his/her drink which can make anything taste funny. I would recommend this cup warmer to anyone who enjoys a hot drink every time they pick up their cup. The plate wipes off easily with a damp rag. NEVER submerge the product in water! All in all, this is the BEST cup warmer I have ever seen or owned!

This set is so cute. The cup is solid and the warmer gets hot enough to maintain the temperature of a hot drink for as long as it takes for you to finish your drink. I like to fix a hot cup of coffee and take my time sipping it while reading or while working on my computer, and this mug and warmer are perfect for that task. Make sure you keep this burner out of the reach of small children while in use. This is such a great little gift, I have purchased two sets and I need three more for other family members. This was a great purchase.

I LOVE this thing for the very simple reason that it keeps my coffee HOT. Not lukewarm. Hot! What is the point of getting a mug warmer if it's not going to do that??? I tried several brands, some of which had big-name brands attached to them, and none of them (I now realize) had the wattage necessary to actually keep hot drinks hot. They all kept the coffee at just a tad over room temperature, which might be fine for some people, but not for me. So that's what I love about this one. I also love that it holds any mug - any size, and that the base is sturdy - you don't worry your drink is going to topple. You can literally leave your coffee for hours and it will be hot whenever you decide to take a sip. Right now I have a cup of coffee on it. I'm sitting on the couch with my laptop writing this, and the Mickey warmer is on the table next to me. With the old warmers, if I took the time to type something as long as this review, when I took my next sip, it would not be hot enough for me! I LOVE that it comes with a Mickey Mouse mug!! The mug itself is actually worth the price of this set! What I do NOT Love: 1) The red plastic coating on the surface is not durable. After just a week or so it already looks old and scuffed up and the red whatever that coating is, is scraping off just from normal use. 2) The base heats up, not just the part that holds the cup. You won't burn yourself if you touch it, but if you have to move it while it's on, it is uncomfortably hot to touch. What I would really like to find is an affordable mug warmer with 30 watts that looks a little more elegant, but all in all, if you like hot coffee... this is for you. Update: I am adding this in April 2022. I STILL live this thing. Wish the red coating was still there (it’s all gray now) but it still works and still keeps coffee HOT.

It Was a gift for mother's Day and she absolutely loves it. It keeps it keeps her coffee at perfect temp. She uses it everyday

This was a replacement for a unit that I had purchased over a year ago in a store (Disney Store, I think). This unit seems like the exact same product. This product keeps my coffee hot! I do have to remove my mug from the heater for a few minutes every so often to prevent it from making my coffee scalding hot. Another bonus, is that it fits all my mugs, even the outrageously big ones. There was a chemical odor that lasted for a few days (as others have described), but that did not really bother me too much. The base and mug both seem well made (contrary to what others have reported). And as of now, after a few months of use, the product has held up well. My first unit lasted for over a year and I expect that this unit will have a similar lifetime, which based on the price, will provide great value.

Works great. Cup doesn't slide on surface like my old one. One feature my old one had I wish this one did is to have it only hit when cup is on it. Wish it would turn off when empty.

I have been using my Mickey Mouse mug warmer for over 6 months now. So here are some things to think about when using it. 1. Never ever leave the warmer on without your mug on it!!! Why is this? It WILL overheat and catch on fire. The mug you are using acts a cooling medium for the warmer. The warmer loves to heat your mug and your mug love to cool down the warmer. It's a love heating cooling relationship. 2. This is an inexpensive mug heater. It does not have an auto turn off feature. You can purchase an Outlet Timer for about the same price as this mug warmer. So if your someone who forgets to turn things off. I would get an outlet time to turn it off for you. 3. The heating surface is painted and does scratch. It's not a big deal to me. But if it is to you. Well.... 4. The surface of the heater is VERY HOT. I've had a few drops of water hit the surface and it sizzles. 5. I don't use the mug that came with the warmer. I still have it. But I don't use it. I actually use a bigger mug that holds about 12oz of water. It's works great. This is a great product that I highly recommend getting. You need to pay attention to it and remember to turn it off when not using. I am a HUGE Mickey Mouse fan and am so happy I purchased it. I may even get a second one.

La tasse est très belle et durable et le réchaud est parfait. Mon café reste à une température idéale et le réchaud ne gène aucun autre appareil chez moi. Très bien conçue et pensé. Seulement, si vous mettez des produits laitiers dans votre café, ne le laissez pas trop longtemps sur le réchaud.
