Best mobile business device ever invented - mini-computer with mouse trackpad & keyboard
Nothing communicates with the surgical precision of the Blackberry Bold 9900 on OS7 (not iOS you iPhoners!); you wouldn't ask your office to take away your mouse & keyboard from your computer and that's why this machine with its tactile keyboard & mouse trackpad actually persists in 2018. No doubt the most excellent information manager (yes way better than KeyOne and KeyTwo) on a mobile device -ever-, the 9900 give snappy, fluid input and output of these 5 importants pieces of any business --- a. Calendar/time management, b. Textual information with cut/copy/paste with trackpad, c. Contacts/address book, d. Word substitution/autotext, e. And all of these on a super-quick, real-time java-based operating system (no cloud lag). Our company has grown every year since we started (for 5 years) and a big part is these amazing machines - Research in Motion (Blackberry), please bring more(!), just update the CPU and RAM per 2016/2017 standards (or at least now that they intend to outsource phone production and/or license it out, maybe someone else will figure this out...). Would pay -substantially- more than the avergage device for simply an updated Blackberry 9900!! Phenomenal device, truly.

Don't try to remove SIM card--rigid slot will tear out phone's gold pins and ruin phone.
Good item. Can be handled, adjusted/modified for best use. Disappointing that the SIM card slot is rigid and tears up a SIM card during attempted extraction to use in other phones. Makes the phone into junk unless some expert soldering can be done to replace that holder. Disappointingly unimaginative thinking in design.

Received a bad one
Out of the box This item didn't work in capital EDGE mode only in little edge mode. Would only pass simple texts nothing would be received if it contained a picture or was part of a group chat. I believe there was a problem with the internal radio. I put my sim into a cheap $20 phone and it worked fine in the exact same location, so I know the problem wasn't sim or location. I even drove closer to the tower where I had full bars, still didn't work. I believe this was a problem with this one Phone, it was used when I received it. I waited to long to put it in service and missed the return window. This model is a great phone, I just got a lemon. I would gladly buy the same model again, I would just test it as soon as I received it next time.

Blackberry was not why I expected but Customer Service was great
Received outstanding customer service and support and prompt reply to my request to return this item, which was in good working condition but it was not what i needed at this time.

This crackberry loves this updated Blackberry Bold! Holds over 2500 songs on it with space to spare.
My Blackberry 9700 worked perfectly for over 7 years until one of the latest program updates used up most of my available memory, slowing down the speed & making it necessary to constantly delete every single email. I refuse to become an iphone addict always trying to keep up with the yearly upgrades like so many others and was advised by my carrier's tech specialist to get this model. It has so much more memory while I get to keep my qwerty keyboard and the trackpad. I haven't gone over all of the details in the manual, but the trackpad is not as responsive as the 9700 at all. A disappointment, but small compared to the benefits of the new Bold 9900. The price was right, coming in a new box, unlocked and even had my carrier's company logo on it which was perfect considering they don't sell Blackberries any more. So far, I love this phone. It even allows me to not have to always carry my mp3 player. As a music lover, I drive with a large portion of my music collection to play through my car's stereo system. The camera is great too. So far so good. It came fast, nicely packaged and in perfect condition. I would use this seller again.

I am pleased with my purchase
I have been a "Crack-berry" since the first day they were on the market. I am pleased with my purchase. The two purchases were excellent, timely delivery, brand new as advertised and one was locked, the other was not locked. Not sure why that was. Since my purchase of over 6 months ago, the only suggestion I would have is keep up with the up-dates. If not, it will become sluggish and more corruptions will occur. Not sure why buy my last Curve I owned did not have that challenge. As long as I keep up with my updates, it operates perfectly. I live in the central states.

Several different T Mobile reps indicated their best guess was that the phones were not really unlocked
I had two of these, unlocked, and had to send them both back because they would not hit on T Mobiles system. Several different T Mobile reps indicated their best guess was that the phones were not really unlocked. I ordered a BB Classic through T Mobile and it is a great phone. One sometimes does, indeed, get what one pays for. Understand---I love my Blackberry as long as it works, and I have had excellent experiences with T Mobile. It is these supposedly unlocked phones that I developed a hate relationship with.
