This was a great shoe for the price! Although it was a little big on me (since they were out of my size), it was very gentle of my foot. I had broken my toe and my moccasins just weren't doing it. This made me feel like walking on a cloud and also served as buffer from banging on toe on just about anything I came in contact with. Highly recommend!

This is a horrible shoe. I would give it zero stars if Amazon would let me. Velcro is supposed to make things easier. For this shoe, it is the most exasperating feature of it. I have no idea how the manufacturer fastened the velcro like they have in the picture. I can only get it to be secure in one way and that is with two giant loops sticking out off the side of the shoe. This is results the shoe in being neither safe nor secure. Getting the shoe as snug as I can with the faulty straps, my foot still slips out of the shoe. I should have just bit the bullet and went to the doctor. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the doctor. I'm sure whatever shoe they give will actually be effective.

These were recommended by a Physical therapist and they were just like what was advertised on Amazon.

The straps are way way to long. I got it so I can remove my knee high boot to sleep and carefully walk to the bathroom during the night. Slept in the boot till this got here. I will only be walking from the bed to the bathroom. I finally looped the strap all the way around the shoe. I hope it works. Wish they made a plastic one for the shower.

I was looking for an alternate surgical shoe when I happened across this one. I saw mixed reviews but the price was good and I could always return it if I didn't like it. The mesh material feels good and did not cube across as cheap. It was very flexible and form fitting. The bottom was just as described and the top was like a thick foam piece. I got the size 9-11 and I wear a 10 1/2 size shoe. As you can see in the pic, it fits just right. After 2 days, it is very light weight but keeps the foot in place, the shoe doesn't move around on my foot and it is very comfortable to wear and feels really good when walking on it. The Velcro allows for different thickness of a foot wrapping or bandage. So far, I am very pleased with the purchase.
