Wilton Cookie Master Plus Cookie Press

I received item in short time but could not work it right. E-mailed seller and he answered very fast and directed me to the problem which was my putting in batteries wrong way. Switched batteries and it worked beautifully. Love it. Saves my arthritic wrist and hands. Will use seller again.

I had a proctor silex electric super shooter that lasted for 30 years. I was excited to get a new electric cookie press and with wilton being a decent brand name, i was excited. Well.... This wilton electric cookie press was a HUGE disappointment. My dough was at room temperature, and it still didn't want to work. I can't even use it for the amount that I bake!! I'd be baking until next year!! Of course, there's only a thirty day window to return. And what a rip off. Product wasn't even worth $10. I should be able to get at least half my money back.

I make cookies all the time and this cookie press is just fabulous. It makes it so easy to press out several dozens cookies quickly and easily. It has cut down the time to make a batch of cookies in half. It comes with a great deal of cookie shapes so that you can make a nice variety when putting together a cookie tray. The other attachments provided for decorating are also a nice feature of this product. :You can easily and quickly add a border or a topping to a cake or cupcakes quickly and easily. A great product for the price.

1. Motor does not have the power to push anything through it unless its almost liquid (like apple sauce). 2. It uses up four AA batteries for each time you fully fill the press and then press it through!! My son and kept trying to put different items through. so each time we had to change batteries. We first tried spritz cookies and it did not move it. After that each time we loaded to gun we used things that decreased in density. We finally had success with apple sauce, 16 AA batteries later!! I hope this saves someone from wasting their time like I did.

It is very easy to use, I really like that you don't have to take it apart to reload it, wish it came with a plunger to push down the dough, like my old one did. Made two batches of cookies in no time. I would certainly recommend this. Nice if it came with a case to keep all the pieces together.

I thought the Wilton Master Plus Cookie Press would be a great product, but so far have been disappointed. The battery compartment is very hard to open. I had to ask my husband to open it, and I'm not a wimp. After opening, it was also difficult to replace. The instructions say to use fresh batteries everytime you use it. This will be a drag, unless it loosens over time with use. Also, I found that the cookie dough had a very hard time coming through the press and I'm sure it was soft enough. It's not that I am inexperienced at using a cookie press. I have been using the Super Shooter for years and it works wonderfully. I only ordered this one because I lost a part and thought this might be a better quality. So far, this is not so. I will keep giving it a try because I do like the shapes it produces (with much labor). Also, the rewind feature to get the screw part back inside is a drag because you have to hold it constantly until it is completely rewound, which takes about 20 seconds. Its possible I have received a defective product, but it appears in this case, cheaper it better. The Super Shooter by Hamilton Beach (which is no longer available unless you can find a used one) is a much easier product to work with and I would recommend it over the Wilton, and it costs alot less if you can find one.

My old cookie press - which I loved - died. I had it over 20 years. When I looked up that brand, it was no longer made and old ones are selling for > $100. Time to try something new. At first I was concerned about some of the negative reviews, which mainly are about power capability to push out dough. However, I don't really use it for cookies, I use it for deviled eggs and filling cream puffs. It works perfectly for what I use it for. There were a couple other brands available, however I'm familiar with the "Wilton" name so went with this one. So far I am glad I did.

This is a piece of junk! It does not have the power to push even the softest dough out. I actually tried two, the first one would only go in reverse, so Amazon sent another the next day. It will go forward and reverse, but it stopped as soon as it touched the dough....this is a totally worthless product and I was wrong to not look at these reviews. Hopefully, I can get my money back.

Sent this back. Thought it was mains powered but it's battery and there is not enough power. A complete waste of time to purchase.

I ordered the first one of these early in season. When it arrived the batteries were in the unit and they had exploded. Even with changing batteries would not work. Returned it and when I went to reorder it price had jumped over $ 30. Placed the order when it came in again batteries were in device and had exploded. Returned it and gave up. Would not recommend to anyone.
