The install kit is designed to work with Dodge 2012 and older with a 1.5" fuel line.

Look at your fuel line there are 2 different ones one is like 1 3/4 inches around and other one is like 2" or 2 1/2 the bigger one is for newer trucks

Yes I had the same kit installed on a 97 F350 7.3 several years ago on the front tank. Kit worked AWESOME! Small piece of advice run a filter in line from the aux tank to the filler neck to catch trash.
